You don't even have to hit anything to get credit. Just blow up some boxes somewhere in the FATE area and you will get credit (at least I did).

If I learned anything the Bricking Bad then it's that the vast majority of people will still stick with the same/nearest FATE, and only the periodic few will venture out to other zones. The same, really, with other event FATEs, such as a couple of consecutive Heavensturns with that damn cyclops hammering the rice (couldn't it hammer the Paissa instead?).
OP, I agree with you from a different perspective. The indication from the quest story text was that we were dealing with one Trent. Not a bunch Trent mobs.
This FATE would operate much better it was a Boss Trent instead of mobs. The bosses health would scale with completion participation like other fates do.
The scaling could be 5 minutes if solo and no completion history.
Up to say 3 minutes for an alliance at highest life.
While the fate would still only take 1 minute on day 1, it would be easier for everyone participating to get in a couple of actual hits to gain credit, versus hoping to get a hit in before a random mob dies.
The problem is that day one never was such a big problem when we had more than one fate..I just simply want more than one fate like it was normally the case..nothing more nothing less..(I did not have problems with getting it dropped so no its not about me being angry that I got nothing x) but I still find it to be a bad decisions since quite some did not get them) I am just a bit surprised to see people argue about it. This would simply split people and SE did it before..I am not even asking them to change the whole event or something. Just more fates in different states.
(I am a she) Thanks :D that exactly my problem. It just like the one with the bombs where people even started to troll it to stop people from completing it. I know that you can do it later too and I also know that it will be more crowded on the first days but it would still just help greatly if we had more than one fate. (Like in the past)
You're comparing an apple to an orange at best...but I get your meaning.
The Bricking Bad fate wasn't really bad...nailed it in one shot - Only had to wait half an hour for the damn thing to spawn..but at least I got full credit. No one was really camping them or doing them in high volume either.
Likely not terribly interested in the rewards. That event over all seemed to fall flat honestly - could be just my server.
As to other world event fates..they don't really spawn too often - or they are too damn hard (IE The Eye's one outside Camp Dragonhead is a nightmare lol) But alas..it is what it is.
