Like what others have said, soloing a dungeon is already existing so having your squadron with you shouldn't be an issue. You gotta keep in mind we're talking about the devs who are extremely hesitant about the idea of soloing in general. It's the exact reason why we have to conform to holy trinity setups (unless you pre-made a full party for the content involved), why nerfs to jobs like SMN and their pet tanks are so harsh, and why we cannot undersize current content without manipulating the system unnecessarily. Again, agreed. I don't know how it worked for GW, but if Squadrons can function similarly to how they do in XI with the Trust system, then it'd be quite the improvement to QoL possibilities. Then again, I'd imagine they'll function similar to how NPCs do in current combat situations, which is mindlessly basic. Should work out fine for this game though with that low of an AI.Quote:

In Guild Wars, there was an NPC version of every class that you could bring with you in place of either some or all of the slots that another person would fill. You generally couldn't bring them into the game's 'elite' difficulty content, but they were sufficient for story content. I never would have made it through the game without them.Quote:
