I failed to buy HW before it was bundled into SB, so there's no stopping til I hit 70 now.
Only bright side is getting SAM and RDM so I can keep all the jobs balanced and geared together.

I'm still awaiting word from OP directly but for now I'll assume that others have surmised correctly and it's a "omg it's not organized looking" thing.
That sucks, but no, there is no way to remove levels in this game. I sympathize with your situation, but barring any actual mechanic that requires it, it's highly unlikely anything like that will ever be enacted. Others have already suggested all possible solutions, I wish you luck OP.
My main issue is that you said that it would be easier for you to delevel than to level those classes, when as of 4.0 (with experience buffs) you could get both of those classes to 30 in one or two short play sessions. If delevlling is easier than spending that little amount of time getting those classes to 30 then the problem can't be that important to you.
I can sympathize...I leveled some jobs that I truly didnt want to simply because I wanted that clean profile.
Unfortunately I just might have just did that with SAM/PLD (51/61) so I'll be taking those to 60/70 respectively, because I cant stand to look at my job list like that.
But yes, as most have said, unfortunately there is no way to de-level or reset class progress (although that might be nice if people wanted to re-live/re-learn that story from the start). The only options are to roll a new character or level it to a number that doesn't trigger you.
How so? If deleveling worked like resetting your desythesis level to zero, I go to an npc and buy a tome, and then use it. Done.
Getting both of those classes to 30 involves a few more class quests, updating gear, and running some dungeons or other preferred leveling method. And that's just what getting them to 30 entails and does not even factor my playstyle. I'm not the type to do things half-assed just so I am satisfied with the numbers I look at. I would never level these classes to 30 just to have them at 30. If I ever choose to level them, it would be because I actually want to learn how to tank in this game. So you might want to take that into consideration before assessing exactly how important the problem is to me.
Some things don't always have to be complicated, but sometimes, things are also not as simple as you're making them out to be.
No one cares about your search info and those that do will respect you more for having at least some experience on those jobs rather than seeing a blank space and thinking "He's never played this he doesn't know what he's talking about". Leveling down is silly.
By the twelve, some people argue for the smallest things...
