Hey, guys, seriously though. Amateur psychiatry is not the way. If you think someone is having an issue, the best thing to do is nothing. Let them seek professional counseling, unless they're making threats to self-harm, in which case discreetly alert a moderator. If you're not trained for this, your well-intentioned advice could be disastrous. And if you are trained for this, then you already know better than to offer your services on a video game forum.

Agree with this completely, this is a good point... first and foremost get professional help, forums like these aren't good for you if you're not in a good place mentally.... and put individuals on ignore, left-click on name then "add to ignore list".

There was an excellent thread a few weeks ago suggesting an option to turn glamours on or off as a menu option for people who do not like disrupted immersion. I think that seems like the most solid solution to make everyone happy.

I don't think so. Many times when upset at something, I will say to just get rid of the thing that has caused me to be upset even if it's something I normally enjoy. I am diagnosed with autism.

I think most ppl are on your side, but oof, the way you're presenting yourself certainly isn't doing you any favors
