Regarding: Centurio Tiger mount

i have no problem with long term goals like say it was you had to do 2000 fates or craft 2000 items, run 2000 dungeons By putting it behind hunts it pretty much becomes a RNG mount, as you pretty much have to put everything else in the game on hold in order to hunt full time.

Long term goals are fine. The issue people have with this is you have no control over said duration. There are only 29 S-Ranks available every three days. As the OP noted, it would take almost a fully year just to complete half the requirement, assuming you never missed a single S-Rank. What further irked people isn't just the requirement either, but the fact they chose an oft requested mount as the one to put behind such an enormous grind. I guarantee you wouldn't see this much push back if RNG wasn't involved. In fact, not that many complained over the mentor mount because you could do it at your pace. It's the RNG aspect people hate. You can't say... do five hunts today, skip a few days, then do fifteen later to make up for it. Each day you miss a S-Rank just means you're that much further away from getting the mount.

I like this mount, too bad hunts are too frustrating for me to bother dealing with. Though maybe that's a good thing judging by the commitment required to get it.

Yet, because the achievement is retroactive. There are people out there with it already. Don't see the problem aside from the want it now mentality.

I'd be more okay with 1000 S ranks and 2000 A ranks, but this is... a lot. Reminds me of an achievement from... 1.0? I don't remember the details, but it was such an extensive achievement that even if you fulfilled the daily objective, it would have taken somewhere along the lines of several years to complete it. This is kind of reminiscent of that; if not worse.

Square Enix loves to put an ret...ahem, enormous grind conditions for a lot of stuff. Even though, Lineage II/Ragnarok Online times is in the past. I strongly believe grind like that is not popular these days.

The problem with this one is 2000 S ranks, which most of the community who have [insert-generic-comment-about-Life&Work] will not be able to obtain. So, let's just forget that this thing exist.

Unless they decrease time for S ranks to spawn.... by 500% or something.

No, and I agree that it's an insane requirement. However I don't mind them making a mount like this even still, though I'll never earn it and partially for the difficulty. However with that said I was not aware of the limited amount of S-rank spawns and had thought that more spawned within a given day than what is claimed. In which case I still think keeping the mount as a difficult reward is fine, lord knows there's several achievements that are also pretty bad (that 1,000 PVP wins on a singular class achievement and title comes to mind), but halving or even cutting it by two thirds might not be a bad idea.
