To be fair they did let us know the information was outdated. We accepted that and that percentages could change, that's why a lot of WHM were hammering on that. We doubt they're hiding actual SKILLS from us though and as it stands a lot of WHM are upset about the gaps in our toolkit we will be dealing with at launch. That is where a lot of our frustration comes in.

Clearly you\\'re playing some alternate version because all of that is false. All of their changes are datamined months before a patch is out, they literally changed the way a entire expansion functions in a patch and didn\\'t even put it in the patch notes or give any kind of information beforehand. They have PTRs and beta tests with tons of player feedback, all of which goes ignored. It\\'s the middle of their latest expansion and classes still suffered from things that haven\\'t been fixed from beta. Yeah, stellar communication.

Maybe they should just not post anything pre-patch notes anymore and not pre-view changes.
Then we could just read the 100% accurate patch notes 24h before servers go up.

That should make it better, right.. ? People won't complain then, right.. ?

They actually responded to a lot of the player feedback in basically all of their forums. Infinitely moreso than the replies to feedback on the FFXIV forum, anyway.

Is Blizzard perfect? Heck no. They're just substantially better than square in replying to feedback.

You say that but I took part in the alpha and beta of legion and they flat out ignored issues we brought up 6 months before the expansion released and took weeks or months to actually do anything about it let alone admit there was a problem. All of us testing DH telling SE hey we have too much AoE damage you may want to look into it Ignored until a good month after release when they have to finally nerf it because all they were taking for mythic + runs were DH.

Mythic+ gives way to much AP compared to the rest of the activities no statement about it until they nerfed the gain of AP from it and gave the same reason we told them. Countless problems with how certain classes play that they flat out ignored and later fixed I can't even count on both of my hands. they constantly give the statement of our internal sims are more accurate and later on have to backtrack after a whole raid tier of classes being complete shit. So pardon me If i think they're way worse about class problems then XIV is and WoW has alpha and beta tests so what excuse do they have and this wasn't just Legion they do it every expansion.

Until they sneak stealth things in during the patches that players catch anyway (undocumented changes). The 7.2 undocumented change of mobs scaling to your level was very poorly received.

Those are community managers, not game developers. It's their job to engage the community as well as relay information from the devs. The developer to player communication is nearly non-existent, the only time they ever post is when a feature they add to the game gets so much negative feedback that they are forced to intervene.

Everything is subject to change as they said many times. It's not dev's fault when people are so eager to spam threads about the death of WHM and other nonsense before the expansion even gets released. What has to stop is all those premature theory crafts and death talks. Let the thing gets released first then try it out in the new context and then give serious feedback in the official forums. Threads like "Thx SE my WHM is now deder than ded" is not constructive feedback. Also you have to keep in mind that translators do many mistakes even when they are professionals.
