XI's code will be completly incompatible with FFXIV, they speak different languages FFXI code says FFXI onry and FFXIV says "Why wont you join me I just want exp".

Actually, before they even announced a delay (I always expect one anyway), I predicted we would get the update around december 20. It's going to be interesting to see if I'm far off or not.

Honestly, SE have themselves to blame for it. They could definitely benifit from being less vague when it comes to their timelines.

First November 24th was set as The Official "Late November"-day, now people assume that the developers have a crystal ball they aren't willing to share with us.

They know just as much as you do.

...and risk player rage when they don't meet it? Their hesitation to share patch release dates until 3 days in advance tells me they're working extra hard and pushing the envelope on what they can get in with each patch. Eventually they give up on the more troublesome stuff and take the overflow over to patch 1.XXa.

Judging by trend, no idea when the patch will hit - but we will be notified 3-5 days in advance at most. There's also a possibility PGL will be missing an elemental stance until 1.20a.

Can you please explain to me when "roughly ten days after late-november" is? That's what I mean by vague. And of course they have a tentative date.

I never mentioned the November 24 thing, so please leave me out of that.

Nov. 30th is as late November as you can get, so Dec. 10th isn't a bad estimate based on what SE has stated so far.
