its mainly the que and just its not very exciting to me , dps are expendable , and tell that to the parties in dun scathe where all the dps seem to die so fast its crazy. Been in so many parties where healers had to use lb 3 because dps are so squishy and can die to anything or when all the dps died last night to freaking ultima proto in my party so dont tell me they arent squishy as hell. Healers are to but at least they can heal themselves, with 30 min ques there is nothing worth it to me in playing dps.Quote:

Actually Ive stated in other threads I will not take any reward If Ive never cleared the content sync, and I dont pony farm unless my fc ask otherwise I dont bother because exactly why Im writting this thread. I have three ponies, garuda was from a sync clear, shiva I got on an unsync run and I went back to clear it sync because I didnt feel like I deserved the pony for an unsync only clear, and the other was nightmare on ifrit which I had already cleared sync previously. And I have one bird from my first clear of sephirot which cant be unsync but ok I guess, I play to be a good player not just to play the game

Looking at the achievments the highste one for instance is at 10.000 - not highste one for commendations is at 3.000 - since you obviously want to finish them at the same time, you should aim for getting a commendation every third run!
This doesnt make sense, you say? Achievments for dungeons were introduced earlier, you say? Who cares about logic when we talk about a "I did this" and "Someone liked me for whatever reason"-ratio?!
(Seriously though: you can only see your dungeon-count when you go into the achievment-menu and select an achievment you havent completed yet... so I would really consider just not looking at it and some weird "ratio" - and if you honestly cant do that it might be time for a therapist?) -

This has nothing to do with unsync as is, you'd have the same problems (no comms, but counting towards achievment) with any pf content, unsynched or not.
And meaningless? I'd say a comm from a leaf in Sastasha is already less meaningful than every single out of the seven you recieve for doing the uber almost wipe recovery in history. Just do a tally to count your moments of awesomeness. -

The exact same thing would happen with running synced dungeons with only FC friends.
As has been mentioned the commendation system wasn't even in the game at launch while the first few instance achievements were. Should SE have reset the instance counter for people playing then? No because the achievement simply tracks how many instances you've completed and it doesn't make sense for some runs to not count. -

Again, commendations mean nothing. I have a friend who got most of his comms by being a goofball in dungeons. Most likely you received them because you tank. I'm not saying you're a terrible tank (especially since I've never partied with you), but you cannot judge your performance by your comms.
