Strange? Why would it be strange that the 2 mage clases abilities compliment each other?
That they compliment one another isn't really why it seems strange. What's strange is that there's hardly any reason to use it with THM abilities, while most of the examples people give for why it's a handy ability seem to revolve around CNJ abilities... so then why is it on THM rather than CNJ to begin with? The cross class abilities for DoW make sense on the class they're acquired from and work as well natively as they do outside of it.
(Granted, like an earlier poster said if Resonance gave you a duration to make all your spells longer range for a short period of time I could see it being far more useful for THM itself, but that's not how things are, so.)
Do all of you really use all your spells/skills arsenal at any given situation? This is a very situational skill, what's wrong with it?
I'm sure most of you would choose to come closer to a mob so you can cast a spell on it rather than use Resonance and cast said spell from a safe spot.
I'm also confused as to why it's a primary THM ability, especially since it was on the CNJ action list prior to 1.20!
That aside it'd be nice if they swapped Resonance with Shroud of Saints. Enmity and MP are already covered well enough by Chameleon and Blissful Mind on CNJ, while THM would greatly appreciate the benefits of the regen and reduced enmity.
I mean, clearly CNJ would be getting the least useful of the two, but majority of their abilities are useful enough that it wouldn't matter.
Do you people not realize we can't run and cast at the same time soon?
And on top of that, in the future, mobs might have bigger radius moves and whatnot that you would want to avoid.
Still 1 spell every 90? seconds. If it was a toggle, a set duration buff or something it would have more tactical value than simply niche uses.
at the end of the day the skilled use the abilites and the none skilled wonder why they have it...its situational like alot of the abilities in the game funny thing is if there was every a situation where you need to use it in a fight (which sooner or later there will be) you would complain about not having it...
If you take out the abilities that are meant for specific situations, and then base the game on what's left, what you get is a very very boring game.
