I would never expect it to ever be worthwhile, unless at least 50%$ of people who post topics about classes in General actually go and start posting them in the class specific forums. Trends like that don't break easily for people want thir post to be viewed, liked, and displayed on the place of the highest traffic so their "opinion" can be seen by most everybody.

So, in order for someone to get a serious point across to where people actually will look at it, they must go with the flow.

Looking forward to BRD now that we know a bit more about it. (I was a bit worried how it would turn out, and I had been expecting RNG.) Sounds fun though.. Long live bard! XD

I was worried about it myself, expecting something completely irrelevant about BRD, but, it seems they did it right. We still have much to learn, but now, I am relieved about it.

My 1 gil is worth more than your 1 gil...
and my ;3 is worth more than your ;3.

But Gath you raised Lancer, how do you know you can play bard when most party will probably want 6 Lancers and 1 healer and tank?

Maybe attach your lance to a bow and use it as an arrow :O

I think it would probably go back to ARC, due to them having their ranged AA...

And anyways, I think that a DD like ARC to a support like BRD is very odd. I do like the idea of those buffs, though. ^_^

All the spirit detective has to add to this topic is that he is delighted that his ARC is sitting at 30, and that he will be able to level is archer into the new bard role. Having the other mage classes already capped and ready for job related content, archer will give me even more versatility :)

Just finished LNC off and got my GLA to 36 too, call me trendy.

The Bard looks like a DPS-buffer, and from the actions list it looks like it's a balance between both. Bard being able to buff the party 'n sh*t while letting its arrows cope with Ifrit's balls. Looks like anyway a boost for the party, so Pugilists will be happy to hit more =)

This' basically how I see it. Now I just need to wait for 1.21 to test it, since it looks great!

So, so true Gath! "PSX" doesn't feel troubled with your persona. PSX thinks Gath is of good standing. Gath doesn't need to be insulted for being Gath.
