Right, a first party tool is much more easily controlled and gives far more accurate information. Completely different than a third party tool, which is odd that they're disallowed in ToS in the first place.

To the point people were very eager to carry people through coil during the relic stage to get their hands on the boni. It's only in hard content that it has a negative connotation. I get adding the nuance of the reason people like bonuses, but I apologize for not making it obvious in the first place I was talking about tome bonuses in cutting edge content. There are already plenty of people who complain about "No bonus" in the pf on week one.

Ok. The other night totorak. A sinched down smn is barely using any dots or only dotting one mob then spamming ruin till its dead then switching. I'm on ps4 no parser but i know he's not doing well (he sucks) i tell him to dot multiple mobs and he argues. Now... imagine this guy had his own parser and could actually see if his numbers go up? Instead of him arguing i could say just try it and see. Instead he's going to continue being an idiot and never learn because he can't tell the difference.

Why would anyone care how you rate or feel about the threads you listed above? I mean that as a genuine question. Who are you?

This topic has been beaten to death since the game started and hardly warrants a new post, so no need to be salty that someone called the OP out on it. SE moderators do it too. The reason for this is to compile the feedback for a certain topic or subject into 1 thread vs 1000 so it is easier for the devs to see feedback. This post/feedback about a topic that already has a HUGE thread about it just creates unnecessary fragmentation of feedback and it is counter productive - especially considering that a good bit of the posts in this thread are going back and forth for why or why not the thread even exists. Sooner or later mods will close it because it's gone off topic.

Should have just left the initial feedback in the appropriate thread. But who am I? This is obviously my first post and I've never been here before.

It wasn't and you missed the point of mine. Your first sentence essentially states that the OP was warranted simply because of all of the pointless posts that are on the forum.

To go back to your other comment, it is totally acceptable to add feedback into an older thread (and SE mods typically ask that we do so) to avoid fragmentation and thousands of posts about a subject/topic when it can all be in 1. Having it on the "front page" is irrelevant because this is a forum, not reddit. It doesn't guarantee that anyone will see it quite honestly, as literally every single comment and post is on the "front page" once the commenter/OP hits "post" or "post quick reply".

That is incorrect.
The post was to illustrate that if you disagree with a discussion topic, you should just not take part in the discussion. That is what I did with the 20 or so posts that I did not find to be worthy of discussion. If other people want to discuss it, all the power to them. Who am I to stop them? The same applies here, we want to discuss this item. Just because that one guy deems it unworthy, doesn't mean it actually is unworthy of discussion. If he has actual counter points to discuss, go ahead. He wasn't doing that.

I have never said anything regards to "front page", that was someone else. That said, necroing threads has rarely been successful here. A few responses of "why necro this" show up, and then everyone ignores it. However, creating a new thread on the same topic has been shown to be very successful.

While I agree fragmentation is something we want to avoid, i feel there is an acceptable level of fragmentation. If a new topic is made on something discussed previously, but not recently, I do not see that as an issue. It becomes an issue when we have 3-5 posts on the front page on the same topic (something that is far more common than it should be).

Taking my comment out of context and throwing it back at me. Nice one. I stated that because he was talking about knowing how other people are 'slacking'. It's that mentality that suggests toxicity. While he may very well be not a toxic player (and that is why I said he sounds like one, rather than he is one), it gives off that impression. I haven't posted anything in here that implies I am toxic to players in game, at least I don't think I have. If you feel I have, please point it out. Otherwise, I am fairly certain I've been fairly level headed and kept on point on discussion.

well this is not what i expected but it's still enjoyable.

kinda funny to see a topic continue from something that is not even close to being on topic other than arguing about topics in general.
