Egi Glamour is coming out for 3.5....

It's not like they're purposely not doing it, they just overestimated how much time it would take for it to be done & they're focusing their manpower on things EVERYONE can enjoy. Not a single class.

If the devs stopped saying it would be in the next patch and gave a proper estimate for when it would be coming then people would stop being disappointed every single patch. People are getting fed up with being teased incessantly about egi-glamours, and that is manifesting as increasing levels of frustration every time it gets delayed yet again.

If it really bothers you so much that players are getting annoyed then you can just take a fraction of a second of your life to not read the thread about it and read the next one instead.

They should not bother with it. Theres MORE important stuff than this Egi nonsense.

Maybe they should just stop mentioning stuff that wont be ready instead of telling people this is coming and then it gets delayed or not mentioned and they hope everyone will forget about it.

Heck, what would Egi Glamours even come at the cost of? Pretty different skill sets go into making quests and models/animations than go into balancing new events like Palace of the Dead... Do they even need to make the models for Egi Glamours? Carbuncle already exists, as does Ramuh-Egi and various other ones... Animations are the only thing left to really work on, as well as the method of implementing it/quests introducing it... Meanwhile we've got this huge section in 3.4 on screenshot camera controls that I know for a fact I'll never use...

I'm not going to complain about that though, because I know some will get use out of it... Egi Glamours aren't really that different though, and honestly... We've only been promised Carbuncle up to this point, and the only thing he needs are Summon III animations and Enkindle animations... He already has Summon and Summon II animation... It shouldn't be a lot of work, and yet here we are...

Why are you posting if you feel this way.* Why even be in this thread? You know how many useless things that people wanted and complained for in this game and have received? Quite a bit. Just because you don't feel this is worth your time does not diminish other's value or desire of this system.

I feel like at this point with all the waiting we've done, all Summoners are entitled to a full size Bahamut Prime glamour. FULL SIZE.

I don't care what the developers have to do - make it work. Drop PS3 support if needed.

Yeah, I got a little excited during the beginning of the 50+ SMN questline. That Ramuh-Egi was really something. Okay, so, Ifrit-Egi is a DD melee pet, with AoEs, DoTs, and a stun. Garuda-Egi is a DD caster pet, with AoEs and utilities (extending its masters DoT durations, knockbacks). Titan-Egi is a tank pet, with lots of health, lots of taunts + an AoE taunt, and self-buffs which decrease incoming damage.

Ramuh-Egi could've been a DD caster pet, with functionality similar to the ACN. Its main skillset could've been DoTs, which could deal more or less damage depending on how close or far away afflicted enemies were to each other. Ramuh-Egi could electrify a party member's weapon, giving their attacks or magic enhanced lightning damage (plus a cool visual effect). His Enkindle ability could've been a huge AoE lightning tempest. Just my two gil.

I'm pretty much in the same boat here. of course it is nice to have such a system, cause as we see there seems to be quite the demand for it. but tbh it won't change anything. it won't boost the smn job, it probably won't mean more ppl play the job or have any other major impact on a smn's life...
personally i don't even notice garuda in most fights, she could be a flying pig as long as she does what she is supposed to do.

i just don't really get the massive outcry, but i guess ppl have their reasons. and ya verminion and idle cams or group posing fall under the same category of stuff noone really needs but we gonna get them anyway
