Do you play as your most efficient job or your most fun to play?

For me they are one in the same: Summoner! I like BLM as well, and I'm warming up to SCH (still not super good at healing though).

I like healing. It gives me the odd feeling of control over the situation (don't get me wrong, I'm no control freak. Ask anyone in the FC - my main response is almost always "up to you guys /shrug" or *try* to go with the flow when tactics change up by someone else's preferences (no garantees via habit)... unless it's just blatantly wrong >.>).
It does get boring, after a while... but exciting when there's a challenge (...maybe that's why I like to haunt Niddhogg NM, so much, lately... know it by heart, but somehow, something still always happens...).
I usually jump to my BRD if I just don't feel like taking so much responsibility... but yet still happily able to help the party with songs (I'm sad when I can't find a reason to play any >_> no casters, no DPSing healer, no AoEing melee or WAR in need of TP, no frantic/raised healer needing mp.... ;______; )

I'd say healing/AST is my most efficient (and fun, under the right circumstances).
BRD is probably my most fun.... even if I'm not as efficient (just... because thats not my main focus/don't play all the time)

DRK and NIN are the funnest to play for me, but it depends on what I'm doing. For roulettes, I go drk for instant ques, but for raiding, I stick to dps unless my friends need a tank. But between my mch and my nin, I'm definitely more effective as ninja. I'm currently working on perfecting the mch dmg output, but I have ninja down pat. So to help the group, I go ninja.

Drk for me I just love pushing myself to my limit with it and having great DPS, great AoE tanking, and a gap closer. No class comes to Drk with it's fun and challenges.

I love playing all healer, but WHM is really hard to maintain for frontline. For new content I always play SCH. For frontline I always use AST.

I play about every class I have at 60 to some degree. Ilvl ranges pretty much everywhere between 213 and 235.
I decide which class to play based on the content, not how well-geared I am :)
For example, BLM, my highest, is mostly used in trial and mentor roulette, sometimes WC, always VA, as well as raiding.
AST, my second highest, is mostly used for ex roulette, WC and EX primals (and was used for raiding in my last Static, and yes, even then I geared up my BLM first).
For PvP I prefer my BRD though, and PotD I prefer doing on NIN. DRK and DRG get the remaining roulettes and sometimes overworld fights.
When I'm in the mood, I randomly usw WHM or SCH instead of AST and SMN instead of BLM, but that's limited to normal-difficulty content; as I'm not as good at playing them as the others (so I couldn't suddenly play SMN on raid level).

My most fun, because with me, fun = efficiency.

I go WHM all the way.

On top of the HOTs and the amount of panic buttons it has, I can stance dance pretty efficiently and feel completely in control. Both of these = fun to me!
