Every race has its own merits and drawbacks, truthfully with the right gear the elezen issues people have can be easily masked and they can look downright amazing.

Hyur can actually look quite unique with some effort

You can infact make miqo'te look less cute and more beautiful with the right options

And au ra can look downright mystical~
I will try and get some good hylander and roe pics later on
but I am sure your girlfriend will find something she likes

Shame she doesn't like Roegadyn cause we can be really pretty.
Highlander for sure though. The women are gorgeous.

Let her make a character from each race she's considering, and test them out in the starting area. Emotes, run style and stances all make a character. I wasn't sure which one to choose either, but I really like the miqo'te movements, and those things matter just as much to me as my characters face, which I usually only see during cut scenes anyway.

Hylander women with max muscle definition are possibly one of my all time favorite things @///@ those muscles tho~

I'm not 'samey' though, because I based my character on my own ideas. 'Boring and bland' is also pretty subjective, your character doesn't strike me as unique and you'd probably blend into the crowd, whereas a well designed Miqo would catch my eye.

I'm also not sure why you think my race affects my level of fun in the game :p

Didn't say it affects yours in a direct way, I was saying it makes the world itself less interesting for everyone which is why we make fun of you. It's a small jab, nothing you should need to feel to defend yourself over unless you find some truth to it and find it offensive (which I don't think you do).

It's not subjective in all cases, you can see the same thing over and over and over again and absolutely everyone finds it gets stale eventually. Picking the safe option (even if you like it) is still picking the least interesting option.

Well I can't tell how many tells I get when I just stand around in a town about how "awesome" he looks , same thing is dungeons. He far from blends in without going "crazy" on his appearance or even attempting to make him stand out. I also get "I recognised your hair" alot too lol.

It doesn't matter anyway because what you said just isn't true, if you saw a Roe in the standard crowd on a server that would be the character that instantly draws your attention because they stand out straight away which is a shame because it shouldn't be that easy. Fem Miqo'te and Au Ra are samey enough for me to have to do double takes as I've got the characters race wrong at a glance (doesn't help you are both short as hell :P).

It's funny you mention this because my friend is a male Mi'qo and we call him a female catgirl because there's so many of them they are most of the population we're out numbered sadly :(
