Fretting over appearances...

Were fantasia obtainable in game as opposed to cash shop I think I definitely would be. But as it isn't I'm just limited to changing hair and face paint every so often, so don't really think about it and just express the change in appearance through glamours instead.

I bought the three Fantasia's bundle when it went on sale a long time ago, just in case I ever got bored of my current character and wanted to switch. This was mainly due to the fact that I used my veteran reward Fantasia to change my eye color. My eye color. Sure, aesthetician can give me scars and remove them but he can't change my eye color.

I change my hair style a lot, but I've only ever used 3 Fantasias: the first one to switch from Miqote to Au Ra when HW launched; the second one to move the boob slider on my Au Ra after realizing I wasn't quite happy with the current size; and the third was to change my eye color. Right now though I think I've finally got it down, so hopefully I won't need any more Fantasias.

I've used fantasias about 6 times now. Went from lala to miqo'te with the vet rearward one, miqo'te to hellsguard with another, then hellsguard to grey sea wolf, used my free HW one to add some muscle, bought another to add more muscle and make myself blind in my left eye, and used my final one to go from grey to pale white because my boyfriend suggested it.
I don't plan on using anymore because I feel like I'm perfect now. The thing I constantly change now is my hair haha.

I changed yet again because I didnt like the face. I also spend way too many times with the aesthetician to change scars and hairstyles.

I think I have bought too many fantasias!! *laugh* I started out as a male catboy (and as you can see, I am one again) but I've had my time as an Auri, a highlander male and female, and a femcat several times. I also visit the aesthetician probably at least once a week to alter my makeup and hair colors (the makeup has to match the hair or it's weird!)

I know at least one person in my FC who is worse than I am though *l* and she's usually the reason I end up changing myself. ^^

I haven't used fantasia, since the appearance I start off a character with helps form my view of who that character is, so the most I'll change around is maybe hairstyle or facial markings, though even that only very rarely and I always keep it fairly similar. Where I get into playing around with different appearances is in creating new characters. Though I play Y'kayah far more often than any other, I have four characters I've played a fair amount, and another three I've created just for the fun of coming up with them, though I've hardly started playing those ones.

I changed my ears when going from 1.x to ARR, since in 1.x I tried to look more human with less pointy ears. Then during ARR I changed my hair style and colour exactly once, and that's it.

I rather like my Elezen :)
