Remember that time conjurers got a mount for doing a quest at level 30, all other healers and dps are excluded, but tanks get theirs for an achievement for 50+ content? Nah, it's more like you're just catching feelings over a non-issue really. I merely said it's more likely, in my view, that the Egi glamour system would be gated behind Level 50 content - like how the existing glamour system is gated behind a Level 50 quest - and since then for some reason you've become salty over it.

It's actually the same general point I raised to SCHs once when they wanted to complain on how only SMNs are going to get a glamour and not SCHs as well. In other words, same way that not all Jobs/Roles were given exclusive mounts, the same way that SCHs aren't entitled to Carbuncles or a Pet glamour because of the fact SMNs are going to get one.

Just the third or so thread you've been in lately that some one has a valid counterpoint and you insist/derail even if your opinion is as equally valid as anyone elses or a sack of potatoes for that matter. SE will do whatever they want. They don't have the most amazing track record for keeping precedence, but this thread is about us getting glamours (carbys at least) on sch, so if they released them at 50 with clothing glamour as an option, I would be completely fine with it.

The point of that last chunk of text you quoted was to show how SE makes special cases and can lock them behind whatever capricious content they want. I was not saying it was unfair.

We are asking that they add them, not expecting it. This was mentioned multiple times. No one is being forceful or entitled. They are asking please with excitement at the possibility.

Except the SCH Job has never had Carbuncles to begin with. Not only in game, but also in lore. You lost access to both the moment you chose to become a healer instead of continuing on from your DPS Class into a DPS Job, so if you never had it as a healer Job why would SE feel inclined to "give it back"? That would make no sense.

SMNs on the other hand only lost access after they completed their respective 'Austerities' quests at Levels 35 and 45. So the latter wanting Carby back? Yeah that makes sense, that's reasonable. They used to have it, but now they don't, and SE thus far have indicated that they'll give it to them.

Yeah, SE can do what they want, and I'm not going to forcibly stop you or anyone else hoping that SCHs will get something 'back' they never had to begin with (nor is part of their Job or thematic identity), but no need to get bitter at me for expressing my views on it being unlikely with reasons why.

We are still Arcanists and still know how to summon a Carbuncle, but that's not what a glamour is, a glamour makes something take on the appearance of something else while maintaining the same properties. Defining a classes lore by it's role in the trinity is a bit odd. It's not like we lose the other Arcanum at our disposal. Try not to overthink it, at the end of the day it's the devs that decide what we can or can't have... I mean.. flying bears, lions and turtles. XD

It would be like giving SCHs a Summon III spell just because SMN got one. Maybe if they implemented it in a way that wasn't just straight leeching from SMNs (like a palette colour choice for Eos and Selene, for example) then that could be something I might get behind. Slapping Carbuncle on though? That would be lame - and l like the Carbys, but leave that for ACN/SMN, and let SCHs stand out with their Pet in their own way...

Anyways, I digress. I've made my point enough times in this thread already and have no interest in repeating myself over and over. Time will tell on whether they'll go beyond SMN or not with this concept, but in my personal view the current signs point to it being unlikely.

The hope, at least for me is that:

All ACN get Carby, because I would think that the different Carbuncles were already going to be given to SMN as glamour options. It would be expanded to include SCH. So it won't be "special" to SCH.

THEN SMN get Exclusive primal glamours like Ramuh, Leviathan and Shiva.
