Nomura is just the director of the game, he might be the one who designed the characters, and is in charge of the production of the game, but regardless of whether it is owned by Disney or SE, Nomura has no power in this, and while he might be right, he isnt a representative of the SE legal department, therefor it is entirely possible that Nomura is misinformed, as it is evidently a confusing partnership.

Female main character is a princess who harbors great power that is sought after by the villians of the series and winds up having the aforementioned power forcefully extracted from her, also she has a mysterious past she cannot remember due to some manner of trauma.. Dagger you didn't have to dye your hair red your disguise is fine o.o...

Main villians are generally horribly misunderstood people who are doing the wrong thing in a desperate attempt at giving their lives meaning.. o.o i thought the organization only had 13 members.. every final fantasy villian ever.

I've been having these weird thoughts lately.. and sweating buckets besides. (Seriously if the character creation and opening dream sequence were set to kh music it would be a dive into the heart, same opening as KH 1)

Summons?

Amazing music? Check
Amazing story? Check
Epic moments of gravity defiant combat? Check
Everyone is stylish beyond reason? Check

Improbable but awesome weapon for the main character? Check

Storyline that gets progressively darker and more depressing as it goes along? (seriously, the story right is sad for /everyone/

hmm.. i disagree, i think it would be fairly easy to have a
Kingdom Hearts event, more fitting and more possible than any game besides Final Fantasy XI infact.
If you don't want an event then ignore it if it ever happens.
Some people would enjoy it, I certainly would.

Who am I - someone who knows full well how businesses like this operate - Ever seen videos with developers turning every single question to their legal representitive to ask for clarification? I've sat in on interviews like that - I provided the hard legal description to you Kupo, take it for what it is: SE owns their Characters and have discretion to potentially use them in other IPs - Including FFXIV

speaking of KH .....i would love to see the Coliseum added to FFXIV :3 , Uldah has one.... and outside 1 fight.....

Agreed, i mean we have the wolves den but i never understood why we don't get to fight on the blood sands like Raubahn did, or like you are hyped up at the possibility of doing during the gladiator questline, it seems like wasted potential to me, i have been hoping that they would eventually have it be a thing in the future.. like imagine it hosting pvp tournaments for gil prizes, glamor, minions ect. Or for pve you could use it to train against enemies that fight back, or fight certain monsters or bosses you have beaten before.
I want to fight Raubahn on the blood sands~

Wow, I apologize then - they must have sold the rights at some point. Document I saw stated SE owned a bulk of the intellectual properties. Makes me detest Disney even more now..
