Am I correct in thinking the final(?) boss in Lost City is an animated statue of Halone? The Amdapoori did worship the Twelve didn't they?
I'm curious what the deal with Raubahn is though. Here's hoping it presents us with some more bread crumbs leading to Ala Mhigo!
Worship of the Twelve is likely, but it wasn't very Halonesque given how she's been portrayed so far anyways. If I had to pick one of the Twelve I'd say Azeyma based on weaponry, but I don't think it's her (nor any of the Twelve really)
Given how Nymians were fond of Oschon (the other wind deity now that Limsa favours Llmylaen) and Belah'dia was all about Azeyma (opposed to Ul'dah's Nald'thal) I'd hazard that Amdapor's big god was Althyk--but there's not much proof I think (the earth deity that isn't the current city-state's protector; Nophica Gridania etc).
Given how much XI is in Lost City (Hard), would be funny if the statue is called Altana...
*Looks at map*
You know... That could even be the missing link for why the Ixali worship Garuda... Iksalions stranded on surface fending for themselves after Xandes caused a Calamity, eventually becoming the modern day Ixali. Amdapori in the Shroud, with a female winged warrior, important enough to be a central statue for this boss fight... Lord of Snakes a Mhachi Voidsent sent to ruin everyones day in the Shroud? Amdapori warrior angel saves the day and the Ixali end up worshiping her?
Did anyone notice the DRK splitting into two (or leaving a shadow image) during the Amdapor (Hard) preview?
