Yep, many forget the fight debuted at Fanfest, later patched-in with some minor changes (silence no longer works). At fanfest we were all i100 with animus weapons and it wasn't a push over DPS check either.

And primal weapons couldn't be put in EX primals because Ifrit's, Garuda's and Titan's were put on Hard.

Depending on the server, the price goes up a lot. On mine, jet black dyes have been at 200k yesterday.
If you want to change the color of a whole set, that's 6 x 200k = 1,2 million Gil. There are enough people who'd rather pay RL money than spend that much ingame, since RL money is easier to make.

I get that opinions on the cash shop vary by the individual, but I find it amusing that some people believe that some of the things exclusive to the cash shop would have been put in the game otherwise.

Time to go grab the marshmallows as people bicker over what it should be worth and how the cash shop should be destroyed because their subscription dollars should be the only way Square-Enix rakes in a profit.
