The hooksets do not preform as advertised. You can still loose the catch. Well so far for my fisher alt who is L 60 but hasn't yet unlocked Hevansward.

Then again many who fish hevansward report the same.

The hooksets negate the catch chance penalty from Patience. They do not guarantee that you will catch a fish, unless you already had 100% catch rate without Patience,

Considering fishing is largely just for the fun of the challenge, I don't really see the point of it at all if the challenge is removed. As Tint said, it just makes the achievement that more worthwhile when you finally get there.

I actually had more difficulty waiting for the correct weather conditions (those fish where it is one weather pattern directly after another).
