What was the first thing you did in-game?

After I got out of the first CS in Limsa, I opened up config and turned on Legacy Control scheme. I also hit Enable Direct Chat and unchecked display headgear.

Did the main story and all the quests around.

I'm boring I know.

I'm playing since the launch of FF14 ARR (well, not really as I had to wait a month to be able to buy the game). The first thing I did in game, after creating this character, was remapping the keys, then running around Ul'dah, delighted at the beautiful graphics and music. Even more delighted when I noticed the day/night cycle and the variable weather. :)

The first thing I did was spend 10-15 minutes trying to figure out how to get to the Active Help Menu that kept coming up. I was playing on PS3 then, and this was my first MMO, so I had no bloody idea what I was doing.

I still thought that Archers used STR back then. Ah, good times. Good times.

Wants to be a dragoon, rolled as a lancer, googled why can't I use "Jump".

Also wondered why I need to have PGL as requirements for Derpgoon.

I started off in the final Beta and Early Access.
Picked Gladiator. Picked it because I wanted a sword, didn't know it was Tank. But I just wanted to play the story.
One nerve racking adventure later (hit 50 on Paladin mostly due to the first Lightning event's help, cause I REALLY wanted to see her) I picked Dragoon and finally finished the story.

I'm playing since July 2014 as catboy (I made his skin too dark because my laptop's brightness too dim lol, my fault tho :p ) and I want become Summoner (But I ended up become Scholar...), and when I wear the cowl I thought this game has crossover with Pokemon, because it makes me looks like a Pikachu -_-

the first thing I did in game(in 2.0) was explore La Noscea >_> hunting for a way off that blasted island!

i started playing early access just before 2.0 officially launched. first thing i did was make an archer, played the game until about level 12 or so, decided to remake my character and went with gladiator after that.
