I'd actually like to see what lore SE can invent that merges the GCs together or removes then from the picture when it comes to pvp.
I am sorry but I find this post ignorant and foolish. They have not tried to fix ques. They have intentionally bottle necked ques with the system in place. They have also done nothing to explain why some people are prioritized others. Everyone above rank 40 knows the problem and they refuse to do anything. Then we have people like you perpetuating false truths.
One remove Grand company requirement, two remove any other hidden calculators. Set one mode with this requirement and we will see how fast ques are. I have seen nights with over 100 people in que across multiple linkshells not get into any matches all qued with the same settings. Why do you think all 100 people sat in que when it only takes 72 to start a game?
The only problem with PvP is that they only offer PvP rewards.
Shoud they have put allied seals in it back when the hunt was created, everybody would have queued for PvP instead of waiting for several-hour long pop.
Besides, the population in three GC are not that far from each other, so there's no reason the GC requirement makes the waiting time that long. People...just...don't...want...to...participate...enough.
Really Grand Company is not the problem? When Both North American data centers report the same issue. One grand company less then 5 mins other two with 30+. Unless i am missing something you know. That looks like one is deficient to me.
Yes the zerg flavour of the month would help ques for awhile. Maybe even out the ques enough for people long term. This does not address the issue.
If the image below is still relevent, it shouldn't be "one GC less than 5 mins, the other two with 30+"

And I really doubt everybody moved to the same GC because "It's doing better at PvP"
I suppose some people would like to do some PvP, but probably don't because "PvP waiting time is atrocious". So, by NOT doing it, they only make waiting time even longer. If Frontlines gave interesting rewards outside of PvP, then more people would do it, thus reducing queue times, thus encouraging more people to participate, further reducing waiting times, and so on and so forth...
