This. A million times this. You can buy it the day before early access and be just as fine as those who made mistakes and bought the game twice because they jumped the gun a bit. For those on Steam, they can't even buy HW yet, for what it's worth. Let the dust settle then just make your purchase once they have stabilized things a bit.

The bundle has no early access. To get early access you must purchase them separately. You can probably contact Sony and ask them to cancel your order.

I know many people said psn was updating abd wait till later. According to those that spoke to psn reps. Its now much later and on my phone says unavailable. So guess it's just the waiting game from SE communicating with psn....

Because of hiccups like this one, people have every reason to be anxious the closer we get to launch. Problems WILL happen, and it would be better if these problems were discovered BEFORE the first day of early access.

People will be as comfortable as they can get once they're able to download the software, get it installed, and know that they're ready to go as soon as the 19th rolls around and all that content becomes unlocked.

And it's not just bug detection folks are concerned with. Because server congestion is an inevitibility once the download becomes available, they want that download to be available a week or more in advance, to ensure that everyone has time to get it done BEFORE early access. Folks who jumped on the preorder because they wanted early access certainly don't want to spend hours, or even a full day of access time just downloading the stupid update.

For my part, I'm sort of in a morass of being uneasily patient. I pre-ordered the physical version, and was told at the counter that the physical box woudln't be available until the 23rd, but that I would be able to download the digital version in order to participate in early access. I'm not exactly sure how that's going to work, or where I need to go to download the "free" digital version, but I'm reasonably certain that the answer will be made obvious in time.

Nevertheless, like others I'm worried that whatever downloading happens won't happen until the 18th, meaning I'll have to fight with thousands of other players all trying to download at once - and then once I have it, discovering that SE made some kind of critical mistake that prevents play, leaving me to wait while SE's programmers work themselves into a lather trying to fix it.

I'm on the same boat. PS3>PS4 upgrade, not being able to pre-order.
I do care about my money and considering that we are still 16 days away from release, I will give Sony 10 days before I "panic". Only until then will I even think about buying the complete version, if I have to. I would be mad, of course, cause that means I'm giving up more money to a game I already own (ARR), even if PSN doesn't think so atm.
Plus I would not be receiving my collector's goodies, in this scenario, as I had originally hoped to do.

Anyway, people you got to relax a little and give it at least until next week for Sony to fix this issue. In the end, if your going through PSN to purchase, it's all digital anyway which means you'll begin downloading as soon as it becomes available to everyone else, considering they fix the issue.
Again, just give it until around June 10, at the very least to allow them to fix this. Stop wasting your money by rushing to buy the complete version, especially when both SE & Sony have acknowledged that they are aware of the issue.
