Yoshi hints at blitzball and FF15 event

I hated Blitzball in X & X-2 (aka Pretty, Pretty Dress-Up). I'd rather they not add that monstrosity of a minigame, but if they do it will be one thing that I will NOT unlock. That's how much I dislike blitzball.

Yes, spectating is a must. Too many games have PVP available but doesn't let people in to watch it. That would be an awesome FC outing to go cheer for your favorite team.

As much as it probably wont happen, i would die of happiness if blitzball didnt become instanced so people could sit around the arena watching other people play.

Maybe they can have weekly tournaments which people can watch (if showing regular BB PvP is too much for the servers to handle). Have ten (or whatever is reasonable) instances at a time. List them on a board and allow people to enter and watch.

I can see issues with this idea - like having to sign up. It would probably be worse than the marriage system when it first came out. But it's the best idea I can come up with, lol. >.<

If we get Blitzball in this game, I would be extremely happy. While I disliked the actual play mechanics in FFX for it, I can see it working much better in here, especially if we can form static teams rather than relying on NPCs. I also just love the concept of it, and the cinematics for it in X always made it look awesome. If it was a real sport, it would be the only one I would be actually interested in watching.....

Well, if we're gonna start Blitzing around here, we're gonna have to cover the basics, ya? Funny team names like those Alamighan Psyches or Garlean Goers. Ridiculous outfits are a must too man. And someone needs to become so abhorrently good and create a <Name> Shot MK.III as an Audience hooker.
