More complex rotations with Heavensward

Doing the rotations the "right" way isn't required for those "players who cannot grasp the simple rotations". The bar on all content except coil/alexander is low enough to allow jobs to 1-2-3 and still get through.

It makes sense that you have to know your job to do harder content.

Also, DF content isn't going to be necessarily harder than it is now, when it was just released. Everything will get easier over time anyway.

You will have the 1,2,3 or 1 button dpsers in dungeons no matter how complex the rotation is. Dungeon runs will just be slow when you get one of these people just how it is now.

Ya im not thrilled about adding a bunch of extra skills that most people in duty finder won't actually use lol. I'd rather see the difficulty come from boss mechanics and not trying to manage 30 skills at the same time :(

This isn't starcraft lol do we really need 300 APM to play? Make the dungeons harder not the rotations :P

Worst case scenario: They gimp all the content to compensate for the lack of general public's ability to execute an effective rotation. UGH!!!

No new Egis for the "SOMMUNER" class? >->;
I hoped for Shiva, Ramuh, Leviathan and/or Bahamoth
(So many Aeons, Eidolons, etc all other FF games has to summon and we have just 3! :C)

Maybe just release the job Onion Knight and give it all stats of 999 where you are able to solo everything in the game easily, have access to every move, and can wear all types of gear in the game? But make it that when you play on Onion Knight you cannot join any parties or do DF. That should solve most problems :3

It has to be a FEOK (fully equipped onion knight) like in Final Fantasy 3. The best class in the game.

Horrible players existing is the absolute worst reason against implementing complex gameplay. Games should be created with the maximum level of enjoyment in mind, not the lowest common denominator.

I agree. More complex rotations will give people room to grow as players.

They'll just continue not to. The competent players will be able to adjust fine, I'm guessing.

Incredibly subjective though. Some enjoy complex rotations and extremely difficult gameplay, and there should be accommodation for that yes. Every job doesn't have to be masochistic. Other games have tried it and ended up going F2P. Rift is the example in most recent memory when they did a major overhaul of all jobs and made most of them unplayable to the larger majority of the population as a result. Add to that gating the new expansion behind storyline... You know I really hope that the expansion is successful but I just see a lot of missteps they are making as they continue to insist on reinventing the wheel.
