Tell us your job/class ideas!

I would like to see a weapons class that focused on warhammers that evolved into the rarely-seen Berserker job. There would be one-handed hammers that left an arm open to finally put some use to those nordic style shields (or future dual wield purposes) and two-handed pike-hammers and heavy hammers.

We're going to need some blunt force to break through the armor of those Garlean judges. And my mule, Ban Hammer, needs some aesthetic touch. (We can use the name Mjolnir, finally.)

and yes berserker was a job that i was surprised never made it to 11...maybe we will see it in 14 at some point.

id like to also see some crossbows...i loved thf in 11 XD iirl pug was supposed to get steal, i havent seen any info as to why we dont have it though :(

Heehee, my minds still swimming with extra stuff to add to that chocobo class. But I always find it better to center on 1/2 classes at a time and explain what you think they should be in as much detail as possible, because there's always the possibility a dev or community rep could see it and suggest it to the development team, who in turn may go "ooo this sounds like a good idea" and then make it. If you just kinda go "I want [insert class]" then it's sort of like "well err... what does it do? :3"

I wish we had a 'new class ideas' forum so our imaginative ideas for the future didn't have to fight for top-spot against the rage threads.

lol i agree konachibi :D i have ideas of my own but still workign details out. plus i wanted to see what things the community had in mind ^.^ im currently working on 2 mage classes that step out of the black and white magic cookie cutter of 11.

ok so I Stated in a couple previously existing threadsn already but I Would love to see a chocobo knight class. It would allow for blacksmiths to makes beak and claw weapons for a chocobo as well as armorers to create protective leg and chest plates. Leatherworkers to creater harnesses and saddles!!!!

So like, you're a Knight with a lance sitting on the back of a battle-armoured chocobo riding around skewering the enemy like ye olde camelot knights?
