DPS corner of Shame

The latest one was in T13. Depending on Megaflare floor thingies, I would sometimes do a last second Aetherial Manipulation to get to the stack and get occasionally comments like, "WTF, Waliel, that manipulation," to which I respond with, "I know what I'm doing." Last time I responded with that, I would misstime the next manipulation, the missile hits me while I'm mid-flight on top of a healer -- who was about exactly halfway through my path to the group, well away from the stack and my beginning position -- and the missile kills both me and the healer. I didn't even know it was possible to do that.

Another thing with manipulation happened in T11. I'm standing in the side, so I can do just a small sidestep to dodge the gas. I get the stack beam for missiles and manipulate myself to a wrong target by accident, which makes me go straight through Kaliya and I get a stack. I get super confused by what just happened, make the most epic "WHAT?!" on TeamSpeak which scares everyone, and I run back into Barofield in my confusion. I die inside Kaliya to the missile solo, and everything just goes downhill from there, because people were laughing at my yell and what I did and couldn't do anything. I hear one of our tanks still has nightmares about that yell.

- Activating Battle Voice 'cuz it's too close to my AoE skills.

- Dropping a Flaming Arrow when the boss's about to jump. Most of the time, though, tanks just move from Flaming Arrow for some reason...

- Repelling Shot out of the Level Sync Fate x.x

- Forgetting to switch off Foe Requiem...

- Life Surge on the Jump. Yeah...

It was against Mog Ex, which I usually run as a Whm. That time, I went with FC friends, to help for a clear as a monk. At the end, when he started casted Memento, I spammed by Limit break ro realize just as we were being killed, that I had been spamming my "Fists of Fire" on and off instead.

So having a Zeta can be cool and all... but not so much on LotA, lemme tell you...

This morning I finally managed to get into CT1, after 4 days of failed attempts (to get in). I got lucky since both tanks were wielding ilvl 135 weapons, and they were WARs so yay for that.

Oddly enough, at the Behe fight, I tanked 2 of the 3 Iron Giants... and as a NIN I go "wtf D:?! Lets pop a DEF CD!!" *B4B* "... OK, that was not very smart". A WAR came to my rescue but a tower was lost D:

I tried to shoulder tackle to the sphere construct in T11 but as the tank was moving it around the trajectory changed when the skill activated and I shoulder tackled into the death wall.

Accidental Elusive Jump into the death wall in T9. The best part was the conversation that happened on TS after I did it:
"Luna, did you just Elusive Jump into the wall?"
"... maaaaaaybe?"
"God, stop being such a Dragoon."

I had just learned Foe Requiem and was at Whitebrim where that fate with all the tons of Ice Sprites popped. I'm thinking "Oh cool I now have a job skill that isn't just relevant when in a party since it's a big AOE debuff that will cause all these sprites to take even more damage from the casters in this fate, even if they aren't in a party with me."

If you can't guess what happened, I'd suggest trying it as soon as you have Bard & Foe Requiem unlocked just to see what a magical experience it is.

Just had a fun one as MNK.

Snowcloak for a Zodiac drop + light farm.
First leg: I forgot I'd swapped my Twin Snakes and True Strike for convenience in low-level FATEs, so here I am running it and wondering why stacks aren't showing right, why my "Twin snakes" and "True Strike" are hitting so low.
Second leg: I get a 90k during the Yeti fight... but probably saved a ton of time on it by saving my Steel Peak to stun the ogre trying to Elbow Drop two full grown snowballs!
Third leg: While trying to position myself for a shoulder tackle after Lunar Cry finishes casting, I'm about a body width too far to the side. And I end up in range to get the ice shard explosion.

Yet I still got my fang drop. Do poorly, get rewarded?

Most of the Zodiac drops I got for my Zeta were from very messy runs...
RNG seems to love those who suffer...

Farming Titan for a pony (still haven't gotten it) and heart phase happens, we break the first Gaol and then I Spineshatter Dive to finish off the last 5% of the heart...... right as Upheaval finishes casting and sends me careening off the side. A Derpgoon moment straight out of the textbook.
