You may have performed flawlessly, but people's preconceived notions of dragoons bias them. They probably thought it was your fault they died, somehow.

We now know that the reason they kicked you was because you weren't dpsing the mouth to break out the healer. You admitted that the healer died. There's only a very few ways for a healer to die in that fight but the common one is that they get eaten and they don't get broken out of the mouth. But you're saying that you did dps the mouth but dps seemed unusually low. One dps is enough to break someone out as the mouth is weak. Somethings not adding up sadly. That's really the only way I can see the healer dying. So since they died from not being broken out of the mouth but you were dpsing the mouth then only two things can come out of this.

Either you were dpsing the mouth like you said you were and the other dps wasn't. But your dps wasn't good enough to break them out so they died and put full blame on you for it. Or you're lying and you weren't dpsing the mouth and the healer died and they removed you. Don't know what to tell you other than move on from it honestly.

OP was trapped first and the other dps broke him out all by himself. He should've been able to free the healer regardless of what OP was doing.

And the other common way for healers to die here is to not know what Esuna or Leeches does.

To me, it sounds like they were talking over voice chat and not understanding why the pug dps wasn't answering.

I've been thinking, if we post recorded video of gameplay without editing it or providing additional editorial comment, then we can't get in trouble for 'name & shaming' people who guest star in a gameplay video where they do/say abusive things to other players right? I haven't been the victim of vote kick abuse, but I do have a bunch of clips saved up from where tanks/healers instabailed duty roulette dungeons they didn't want leaving their party in limbo, or who left after the second boss in a dungeon because they just wanted to get the myth tome bonus vs go to the end for soldiery from final boss. So I'm hoping to broadcast my collection of gameplay vids one day and if people in them happen to be doing things they don't want others to see, then it's on them for doing them in the first place.

You don't want to message them. Nothing good will come of it.
My advice to you is to just let it go. People are jerks, and much worse could have happened to you. Requeue and move on.

If you're really upset about it: consider playing another class, consider making friends to play with, and consider using Party Finder.
You've actually had REALLY good luck in DF if this is the only problem you've ever had. I run DF regularly and get problems like that almost every day.

For every one case like this, though, there are 5 where it's warranted.
Besides there were 3 people in the group that were in the same FC, and the person being kicked doesn't get a vote. Even if their vote only counts as 1, the person still gets kicked, thus that idea solves nothing.
