Starlight Celebration Contest Winners Question

People are throwing around a lot of strong words about this.
It's really not a big deal.
SE just has to disqualify them. Shrug. Why the overreaction?

While it's nice that you have fixed the problem, it was only removed "out of respect"? If it hadn't been a picture of the vigil but still as clearly photoshopped you would have allowed the cheating to slide?

What if your friend died and everyone took a picture at the wake. Then, someone found that picture online after you uploaded it, photoshopped themselves in the picture, and entered it to win some random photo contest.

I think you'd be pretty pissed off they used a picture that was in memory of a passed friend to try and win a contest. Not to mention photoshopping themselves into the photo doing a cheerful expression.

Oh how we are so fast to judge other people and stand on our soapboxes and preach what is right and wrong. Pass judgement first, then dismiss any explanations later. Isn't it possible the person had good intentions? You think they feel pretty bad now? You hope they do? Possibly in their mind this was a tribute they themselves had for the passing of a fellow player. Maybe it just didnt come off the right way. Before you all go to the photoshop studio and gun everyone down because you didn't think the picture was in good taste - think.

You're right.
Let me find a picture where people are paying their respects for someone that passed away and put a happy clown infront of everyone.
Basicly, that's what happened here.
Not a big deal for some, but a huge deal for others.

^This, TBH I'm really surprised they picked such an obvious photo shopped image in the first place :/
