but i can say that i almost are able to defeat every class in 1vs1. tell that a drg to kill a scholar easily in 1vs1.

You know that in every MMO assassins are used to be melee glass canons? less HP, less defense, melee range.. stealth attacks and incredibly high DPS.

Last time someone pointed out that Dancing Edge has an erroneous description I tested this out, and I'm fairly sure it does work from the front. You should be able to apply it from anywhere anyway, the potency is the only thing which is indicated as being from the flank, though it isn't.

im going to point out that you are wrong. dancing edge has no positional requirement at all. the only version that says it does is the english version.

i am telling you with absolute certainty that you can APPLY it from any direction and the description does nothing to contradict this.
What IS broken is the potency. It's supposed to get a combo potency increase ONLY from the flanks, but thanks to some calculations people have shown that the potency doesn't change if you're on the flanks or not on the flanks. The debuff doesn't discriminate based on orientation, however, and the description gives no indication that it was meant to.
It wouldn't even really be a nerf, they'd either change the description to match what the ability actually does, or change the ability to match the description. That is what is called a "bug fix" :P

again, no its not. the dmg potency is what it is. the only version of the game that mentions positional is the english version. all other languages do not have "requires flank".

which is exactly why i said they'll either change the ability to match the english version's description, or change the english version text to match the other language's text, depending on what they actually intended
It could be a very clever way to hedge their bets and have it not come across as a nerf after all :)

so you think they would change the other versions to match watch the english version says, including the japanese version? even tho it didnt have to go thru the language barrier? even with regards to the other mistranslations that were in 2.4? and you really think they will change the japanese, french, german, and chinese version for this?

seriously people you read what you wrote? dragoon must be the top dps! ninja need positional fight! raiton is OP! seriously?

you really really need to keep cool, because you gonna hate what will come later... we know that they will add more and more jobs, you gonna complain about it everytime they gonna add one?
i means, we have one of the game the most balanced here... dragoon don't have the top dps, normal, he do have the simple mechanic of all the melee dps. any error in the cycle of a monk or ninja can hit really hard your dps overall.
ninja don't have position recquierement, because the ninjutsu is hard enough with latency for not add this to the jobs. Raiton too powerfull? a 320 potency skill with 20 second of reuse... actually is not true, if you respect your cycle it's 60 second reuse time. since you must maintain Huton and use suiton too.

but all this complain come from people that have a little knowledge of the jobs. finally, i want to point something that a loooot of people have fail to notice. in 6+ month, the game will receive an expansion i doubt they haven't already think to the skill that all the jobs will receive, and i will be not shocked to see some jobs like Dragoon get some big change with this expansion.

Burst DPS =/= High DPS

Burst DPS mainly means high DPS in one hit. High DPS means high DPS over time. Can we please go back to the times where we called Burst DPS "DD" instead of Burst DPS?

If they feel it is necessary for game balance, they will. And as it stands right now they have actual justification to go in either direction without it being called a "nerf."

Not really, since "DD" used to refer to those who could only do any sort of attack every few seconds. Every class now is constantly dealing large amounts of damage, so the difference between "burst" and "high" dps is very small.
Ninja counts as "burst DPS" because of Raiton, Suiton, and Trick/Sneak attack.
