Anything's possible. Watch, you're going to see various strategies pop up to confront this. Go do some frontlines and see what changes people do in reaction to their new abilities. Even the slightest changes to an playing field can have the most drastic effects. Still sticking to it until I see it proves unreliable.

Fairy died, and they used swiftcast + summon to bring her back one more time. If you play scholar, summoner or blm, you now how long it takes to get that swiftcast back. After round 2, and your fairy goes down, you're basically f***ed. This is how to eliminate a scholar when you're just 1-2 people. Unless the scholar is terrible at their job, you're not going to burn one down simply by a one on one, or even a 2 on 1 encounter. That pet makes it that much harder for it to happen. Plus, when that scholar loses their fairy, they start panicking like crazy. Trust me, I've seen it happen multiple times.

Let me rephrase. This will not work against any SCH that actually knows how to PvP and manage their pet. All the SCH needs to do is sustain their Eos and it can self heal against one person attacking it, maybe requiring the occasional heal from the SCH.

Killing Eos is not a bad plan, but it needs to be done in the right scenarios.

Oh don't worry - the fact that I play SCH does not mean I do not play other classes as well.

But hey, when you have too few healers in a party someone HAS to switch.

So WHMs thrive on their regen ticks (coming from Medica II as well), all of which can be dispelled. SCH now has their bread and butter in the same situation and it's a huge problem? So much salt.

You're still going to do just fine. The strong will still kill you just as quickly, the weak will still struggle.

I'd be very much okay with 2-minute flag exchanges instead of spending an entire 15-minute match wailing on the same group ad nauseum, thank you very much.

I'm assuming you're higher than level 32? This is for pvp only, darling. Arcanist are currently overpowered in arena and frontlines to begin with and you didn't even get nerfed one bit. Gladiator and Monk are the two pvp classes in the game that do not have the best burst, instead of burst they now have a little extra utility, think of it as a little extra burst damage. You being an MMO vet know we can't just give classes more damage to help them, they need utility for strategy. If you value your Atherflow, when you see a monk or a gladiator running around, run away. If your going to quit a game over reading one line, one buff given to two struggling pvp classes, cut it out man, get your ps4 out and play Destiny. I played the beta, it is so good, you can almost, I mean, almost, tell the difference between the three classes. You like pvp? Assault Rifle is OP, it's Cod but you get your class ability once or twice a match, innovation right there.

This is a pretty rough nerf to scholars. It creates a pretty big advantage even in the hands of a mid-level player, and a MNK in the hands of an elite pvper will be ridiculous.

The change didn't need to be made. If nerfs were necessary, other things could have been done that weren't as dramatic as this.
