That has been there before when no subtitles were available, would be crazy if they did it for the 14 hour one lol.

Really I'd just like to see something like that for the live letters (1 hour ones), we're almost there.. almost. The final work is really delayed though, have to catch it in the act or wait till they polish it up and PR makes it kosher. If they could pre-prepare it all kosher that'd be excelent.

If it's as fun & fact filled as the last few letters, 14 hours should provide about 5 or 6 whole minutes of interesting new material.

Unfortunately Yoshi, Foxclonn and their occasional guest don't go off a script. They probably have notes and a bullet point of what they're going to cover (the Q&A Answers basically) but they aren't reading off prompter cards or anything. They are also normally Live at an event where it seems they sometimes field crowd questions so it's difficult to prepare much more than the direct answers to the chosen Q&A questions.

While I would certainly appreciate a live (official) translation of streamed events, keep in mind that your subscription fee does not cover "above and beyond the call of duty" community events like these. It's already impressive that they even do them, so I could understand why live-translating with the possibility of miscommunication would be low on their priority/budget list.

Welcome to how the asian fans feel about NA based MMO/Game streams. Know how long it took for the JP fans to truly start getting the Mass Effect love? Japanese company and Japanese development team - Can you show me Blizzard's streams that are in any language other than their primary language of their dev team?

You're right, but don't forget that they're releasing every language at once. It's not a Japanese game. When a certain German company did live shows, they did them in English, not German (just an example).

Generally, marketing or publicity events are not "critical". I am not sure why a rational company (or person) would hold such a market focused event and intentionally leave out significant market segments.

The thing is: You still get all relevant information. Why isn't Blizzcon held in China? They officially support that region and their sub base is just as big if not bigger than NA/EU sub base when you think about it.

As far as posting it on Lodestone, just because someone plays in NA and reads the English site doesn't mean they can't understand Japanese as well, so thats another reason to post it. (Just like if there was an English-only thing, they should post in in the JP lodestone since some users there also speak English). Not everyone just speaks one language (I do speak Japanese, although I'm not fluent, but have several JP-native friends/family who live in NA).

That said, I agree ideally they would at least translate any new information or announcements for the whole community (meaning not just English, but French and German as well since those are the other supported languages).
