After how the 2.3 story ended (I aren't going to spoil it for people who might not be there yet) I can see 2.4 being the introduction of the Ishgard storyline, and Shiva will be linked to that. 2.5 will carry on the Ishgard storyline and after that I can see the first expansion coming, ending the Ishgard storyline, and finally opening the city to PCs.

Ow and he spawns in such a way that bits of him are in every zone hehe so that you actually don't get to much lag hehe... Atleast not Odin level.

5. There's only 2 spots left: Eureka, which was a treasure cave and will probably be a pitiful 4 man dungeon in ARR and the Dark Crystal, which is where the Warriors of Dark and Cloud of Darkness is. So "Full story" would happen at 2.6 or so most likely.

6. We'll never see Siren and Diabolos again, they're 4 man fodder in throwaway instances :(

So after Shiva it'll get interesting for sure but Fenrir is traditional now and XI pretty much solidfied his place as an important summon, he was HUGELY important to XI's storyline just like Carbuncle was so if he goes back to having almost no importance to anything, it would be a bit weird.

This is actually a brilliant idea, I would love the air/space ship and travel to a new world, or a moon, that is populated, so the aether story stays in place. I would still be part of the life stream and all that jazz.

in 2.5 they will add "The Chase" where a mob that can take only one hit will randomly spawn through out the game. IF you kill the mob Bahamut will explode like a Pinata raining down level 200 loot.
