You guys didn't see the name of the OP and gave up right then? It's the same guy who complained about someone telling him to "lot" because it's "loot".

For me it's the opposite! Sometimes I think I get hit, and for some reason I don't!
Totally true!
Edit: No lies promise!
If you can time a jump, you can avoid aoe. Bonus points if you can hit dash in mid air & an insta cast before you land. Try it! @.@
Thanks both of you as well as some others posters for the additional info. I was just getting extremely paranoid about it because this is the first time I experience something like this in an MMO, this sort of "forceful lag" so I thought I was imagining things. It is just irritating, specifically in Titan HM that has occurred today quite often and made me lose my rhythm (wipes). It is going to take some time to get used to it because when I experience a certain ping I get used to it right away because that delay is consistent and doesn't messes up with timing or my reaction so it was odd.
It is not a huge or a significant delay but it was enough to throw me off balance.
never try to beat the orange circles/rectangles with a spellcast, just move.
This game is a bit different from other MMOs. You kinda have to get used to it. Never wait for the last moment to move out. Cancel whatever spell or combo you were doing the moment you see the telegraph. Don't go by Boss's animations either.
You know how in your screen you'll always be the first to move out and everyone else is behind? That is what it shows on everyone's screen, everyone is shown as being ahead of others but in reality you are all moving out at the same time. If you see that you're moving at the same time as everyone else you're actually behind them according to the server and most probably you'll get hit.
Sometimes the animation does not match exactly with the cast bar. Rather than attempt to predict how long you have based on the animation watch the cast bar instead.
