What happened to this announced feature?

Post E3 bump.

The way I see it, there's just no content in-game yet that requires an alliance of FCs.. It likely got delayed until after the duty finder changes which will allow queueing up as a full alliance for Frontline. The side effect is that the changes should also make it possible to sign up as a full alliance for CT then.

The roaming primals they mentioned in the English live letter, they're just not certain how to implement it yet, and make it possible for smaller FCs to get the right to summon instead of just the large FCs that can perma-camp the zones they'd roam in ...

I just made and FC and want to ally with a friends FC so this feature would be awesome.

Maybe I remember wrong, but on live talks does devs have said allliances comes in the table after (or with) PvP battlegrounds?

I've poked around multiple places and this is the last place this system was mentioned. I know quite a few people who were looking forward to this system and it's seemed to completely fall off the map. Is this currently still planned? Has it been scrapped?

my guess is since they don't have it ready they will wait to announce it.
heck they might even put it in 2.3 and not say anything about it till the patch notes.
that part wouldn't surprise me at all.
anyone who played FFXI knows SE is notorious for tossing in surprises without mention of them.
just look at all the surprises they tossed in 2.28

They never promised this in CT for 2.1 nor did they promise it for 2.2. They did say they would add it eventually, but that it wasn't a priority. They did exactly what they said they would.

they only promised it was coming no time frame was givin till they mentioned it for 2.3 and if I remember right Yoshi-P stated that if they waited till the full 24 man preformed alliance feature was ready we woulnt have gotten CT in 2.1

Hmm this would be a great feature. Though my FC is at 52 members and our friend FCs are small ones we are atm solving this with a common LS.
