Being cautious and selling runs only to legit buyers isn't the OP's intention, the OP merely wanted a statement by the devs to indemnify them.

They aren't gonna do background checks, they'd take any gil, even if its from RMT sources as long as they have plausible deniability of possibly knowing it.

mmmhmmmm ur advertisement was already 213 ++ sold runs rite? if its bannable, u won't reach 2 digits in sold runs. U guys might worry more IF YOUR BUYER IS BUYING or USING GIL FROM RMTs , hate to see ur t9 party got ban hammered anyways if such shit happens

Not sure S-E would ever consider doing another gil wipe. They got a lot of angry customers last time, doing it repeatedly is just asking for trouble.

Although the act of selling runs at very high prices does indeed encourage desperate players to buy the gil from an RMT site, I don't think the run seller should be held responsible. The source of the gil should be investigated and if the buyer is found guilty perhaps the money removed from the game. Regular investigations resulting in such gil being removed would perhaps encourage FC's to sell at more reasonable prices to avoid getting a buyer who used RMT.

Personally, I'm baffled by the idea of buying runs. Selling I can understand (though I'd rather just do for free to be helpful if I was in such a position), but buying seems so pointless... Why play the game to buy a coil 2 run?? This is end of end game content!! You're not even trying to rush past a hurdle but rush past the whole damn game XD There's no pot of gold at the end of coil 2! Coil 2 IS the rewarding gameplay so just enjoy it, wipes and all.

EDIT: Maybe I'm missing something - alt classes or something? Anyone who's bought a Coil 2 run care to shed some light?

Yeah, we're the group with over 220 carries now. I'm just scared that the sudden influx of money will spark an investigation on my account ie: suspension for 3days to an indefinite amount of time. I don't want to miss out on coil for 1 week because of this. I guess I will just contact customer support and ask them directly!

My team made a team of alts and have cleared t9 with them already.
We are selling the runs with our ALTs not main classes if that clears it up (:

Thanks, but not really :P I easily understand why people sell the runs, but not why people buy them. What are they trying to achieve when nothing is waiting for them after turn 9? The joy of playing the game is surely lost to be carried through the final content?
