I only meant the armors, not weapons. The weapons would be too silly. It wouldn't work anyway because of the armory system.
Probably because the glamour mechanic is something involving the game invisibly equipping things onto you but not, so it can only equip you with gear your current class can actually equip.
I don't know because I'm not a developer, but that's how I'd assume it would work as it makes the most logical sense.
I'd like a variation on this where we can make vanity versions of the crafting sets, ones with the craft-specific details removed. The weaver coat looks really nice but if I'm wearing it for vanity purposes I don't want that pair of scissors to be hanging from the back.
I fully support this. I would love to glamour my scholar with the high level weaver gear.
Personally, I think it should be similar to how the PVP gear works. If you have leveled that class/job and obtain/craft the gear, you should be able to glamour it.
If you have not leveled that crafting job to 50, then you should have no access to it.
While I would love to wear my leatherworker AF all the time, I prefer they keep the AF locked to each specific job. Now...I'd be open to removing restrictions on other non-AF gear, but leave AF alone in my opinion.
