Atma Fate System Broken

If you can grind levels for DoL classes ( without leves ) from level 0-50 then imo you should be able to grind for your atmassss.
I myself might give it another go as i kinda want 1 but couldn't stand the grind hence why none of my DoL classes are above 15-20 lol......
But in the time i spent non atma hunting i accomplished a few things as making a lot of gil then spending it on vanity, furniture, gardening.
I also managed to finally down titan and catch up with the ex primals.
Within the first day - week or so i had most 2.2 vanity pieces
The only ones i'm literally missing and can't really obtain yet are the lighsteel / tafetta sets.
Other than that i managed to find myself a nice fc and ppl who are fun etc.
All of this happened cuz i chose not to waste my time with mind numbing atma grinding :p
Now that i have those accomplished maybe i'll tread the atma void and see if i can get 1 too!

All the people shunning the atma theory... Regardless if it is real or not, does it matter? Unless someone can say without a doubt that you must stay in one zone until you get one, I think it doesn't matter where you grind. It is all RNG anyway. If the theory is bogus, drop rate doesn't improve or degrade either way.

this slow way to get relic upgrade is by far easier than it was v1 and the rng sucked worst to get a chance to get one part one needed out of the whole pt and it was also based on how fast you completed the raid heck even dark light gear was a log difficult process to get yoshi had said that to obtain your relic so easily was a mistake so he then told the dev team to make a long process so not every one has one only the ones who worked hard to get it just like it was in v1 so to what op said yes it was ment to reward those who worked for it and to shun the ones who either did not work hard enough or the ones who rarely play not every one will get a zodiac wep it will always be better than any wep in the game same as our relic armor since it will be upgradable for those who say high alagan armor is better no it not since it cant be upgraded like relic and eventually haa will be worthless in the end

That's because coil will release new gear during the third turn of coil becoming better than current high end gear. Coil and future end game raids will always be the best gear at the time. Coil weapons are better then animus weapons now.

2% doesn't mean you will get it in 50 fates. It means you have a decent chance. If you're unlucky, it's not unusual for it to take 100 or more.

Well, it's actually local time, not server time. Not saying the theory has been correct, but everyone I know that tries it has has better luck than not.

Not saying that method is true, just saying it does make more sense if you go in the correct Zodiac order.

Yeah I can't do it anymore, I am sorta broken up about it because I'm not much for getting into the whole social aspect of the game where you're making statics etc and Relic was my refuge from that.

SE needs to get it's mind right and keep the system that has worked for them. I know some people complained about Relics being easy, but RNG isn't a challenge it's sometimes a complete destroyer of your gaming experience. A challenge would have been to tie Atma into beasts like Titan etc where you had to at least demonstrate a level of skill or coordination to clear, running around following people in a party isn't really skillfull or hard work, it's just a time sink.

Which is what scares me most, SE is already trying to give us wild time sinks which I remember this happening on FFXI when the content rollouts started to dwindle and we haven't even seen the first expansion even in any kind of preview.

And the greater the points, the better the droprate. And each run drop only 1 atma at max for the whole party (8*12 runs minimum to give everyone in the party all atmas), but once you have the 12 you don't need to do it again for the other weapons.

So you want to kill Titan for your relic, upgrade it to Zenith, then kill Titan again for atma? You also say you're not much for getting into the whole social aspect and making statics, so the relic was your refuge from that, but you want atmas to be obtained through content that demonstrates a level of coordination with other people. You sir seem to be having an argument with yourself.
