Will Lightning return again?

They're regular one-time-only quests, so there's no "doing it again" involved. If you've already done it, then you've already done it. Offering the event again would be for people who have NOT yet done it. It's probably the most fun, and certainly the most involved event we've had since ARR launched, and it would be a shame for people who either weren't here or couldn't level up far enough in time to miss out on it.

If they do it again though (perhaps as an anniversary event), I'd hope they adjust the level requirements. Level 13 content shouldn't have a level 45 participation requirement.

First off FF13 was a good series..people are stupid. Second I am upset they did not do something for X and X2 HD remake..would of loved some of that gear..like cmon would of been sooooo awesome. But it is fine.

Like my opinion I'm about to post.

FFXIII doesn't live up to the Final Fantasy name. So it may be a good series but not good enough to be named Final Fantasy. Bravely Default is more Final Fantasy than the FFXIII saga was.

They said the Goobue mount would never come back again after it was available in 1.0. You can now get one from beast tribe dailies! They said Nael van Darnus would never be able to be fought again after his "demise" in 1.0. You can now participate in the exact same fight from 1.0 as the final boss in turn 9! I don't believe a single word out of SE's mouth anymore.

I'm kinda confused, but why did she return a second time?

I can understand her comming back due to ps4, but why did she comeback a few month ago.

While it is a goobue, it is a different goobue that is wearing a wreath while the 1.0 one has a carpet so you can tell the difference between the two. I do agree that we did not need another goobue, they should have picked a boar since they live in the sylph lands, the goobue on the other hand isn't anywhere found in the shroud O.o?

Now as for turn 9, the fight is completely different than the one in 1.0 and isn't really even Nael at all, you don't know what you're talking about.

The lightning event first came for the Japanese release of the game and the second time it was for the American release of the game.

It will be back when they release Lightning Return Editor's Cut HD Remastered Anniversary Edition... or something like that.
