I'd rather see a new Final Fantasy related FATE than see Lightning strike thrice.

I appreciate Battle on the Big Bridge and the Shantotto FATE as well as the other little things such as minions gear and barding but I loathe the FFXIII FATE event.

My anger will only grow until Final Fantasy Type-0 gets localized.

Either the event needs to run again someday or they need to give us some other way to get the gear. I missed it the first time around and then I worked my butt off and played as much as I could given work and family, but could not get high enough level to totally complete the event, much less on more than one character (m & f) if I wanted to. There shouldn't have been a level 45 requirement for EVENT gear (especially given that it was only level 13 gear).

Well, they don't "need" to do anything. They actually gave people two chances to do this, once in November last year, once February this year. Sorry you couldn't get to the level high enough to get the gear, but unfortunately, a lot of MMO stuff are time sensitive. But you're high enough level now, so next special event like this one, you'll get it!

I actually enjoyed the whole XIV event for LR. It was pretty fun and the rewards are still some of the more unique looking weapons and armor in the game (for the most part).

But no, I hope they don't bring it back unless there is a reason to; like another new XIII game launching. Otherwise it was fun, but I wouldn't want to do it again.

And if they do make another Lightning related event, I would want it to be different than the last one (two).

I can definitely understand for players who are new and didn't get a chance to participate to possibly feel like they missed out, because, well.. you did. Limited events (and event rewards) are just that, limited.
