SE - Default 3rd Retainer before Fees

Please, explain to me how would you transfer items between your own characters besides having another player come over and hold all your trash to trasfer it ever single time you need an item.

There was a time when we had only ONE retainer.
They have already given us one free.

That's odd as I recall it was your 2nd retainer and there was no 3rd mentioned. ARR was originally only going to have one, due to streamlining inventory and items overall from 1.0.

However, due to legacy/1.0 players having inventory and retainer slots reduced from 1.0 to ARR they gave everyone in the game a 2nd retainer, free of charge. The whole point behind the Calamity Salvager and rebuilding your retainers.

Never heard of a 3rd being mentioned, please share an official source as ppl want to know.

We should be able to choose a subscription that gives 2 extra retainers and 1 character per server that would be cheaper than adding 2 more retainers with the current 1 character per server deal. You have more of choice and options because its true really that most players only use 1 character. Some people don't like hassling with more than one character. To have the extra retainers it adds to your monthly fee so you are still paying the extra monthly fee for the retainers like it is suppose to be.

Bunch of people in this thread who don't play more than one class and don't craft.

I used to play just the disciples of war and magic, I played all the classes available to enjoy them all. Naturally, I had a lot of gear and vanity to store. I thought to myself "Wow, that's a crap load of space even with all these classes. Armory and retainer spaces combined."

Then I started crafting. Seriously though, even with just ONE or TWO crafting/gathering classes, the inventory space I used to think was limitless flew through the window. Imagine now if you had all the disciples of hand/gathering!

All in all, an extra retainer would be a godsend. Would easily be fixed if we could send stuff between alts but SE's still in the dark ages regarding mail mechanics.

Seriously, why don't SE just pay you cash every time you log in?
