What if your 6 wipes deep, that 1 DPS isn't hitting good numbers and is the weakest link?

Where do you draw the line with complacency?

I'm all for helping others, but if your stuck with people who aren't improving, you only have 1 choice.

I agree. Everyone has different levels of skill and SE has already said that removing players from the group because of different playstyles is not against the TOS. Doing much lower damage compared to the others in the group is definitely a different playstyle.

Parsers are just the first step to make bots. So those are against TOS, and there are not a true valid reason for it use.

Parsers have nothing to do with botting. It does nothing to control or move your character in any way, it simply displays information. Parseing has nothing to do with botting.

Its the feedback information that bots needs for the key stroke binding that it sends.

Let me start off by saying, I would like an official in game parser, mostly so I can improve my own game play. As console player, I am generally in dark about my exact numbers.
The aggro meter is decent gage of my relative DPS performance. I tend to be a little lower on that gauge than some others I regularly play with simply because I make it a point to use aggro reducers more often than they do. As DPS, I do not want to be the tank. IMO, DPS that rip aggro simply because they do not bother to use these reducers are careless DPS.

You have 3 choices actually.
1. Vote Abandon - if the run is going that badly it will likely pass.
2. Leave and take your time penalty - I never worry about the time penalty, as there are many other things to do in this game to pass the time.
3. Vote to Kick

Your point of view is typically revolving around PUGs. Which where the most where abuse is going to happen.
I am not attempting to take high and mighty stance here. I have kicked players for grossly under performing in the past and will do so again in the future. How long you live with that players under performance will determine how whether you are being abusive or not. Give a fair chance, your 6 wipes, and you fully justified. Give them, 0 to 1 wipe and you are being abusive. Numbers in between are very subjective.
I do not need a DPS meter to tell me when some one is botching the mechanics and not improving.

They could even just put the group parsers in "hardcore " content, and have a self parser accessible on striking dummies. I don't think any1 tackling alex savage will mind any criticism that might help them perform better and casual players would be free of a parsers scrutiny while doin stuff like primals, ct and dungeons.

Se should cater for all types, casual and hardcore, especially since Yoshi p sorta hinted act sux when questioned about mcn dps, how about se share their cool parser with us? :D

Zorlinta, what exactly do you believe an 'official' parser would provide to a bot that the running memory doesn't already provide (which incidentally is where current parsers are getting their info from)? Bots already exist and they don't need parsers to run. Some are programmed very good, some are absolutely terrible, but NONE of them need an official parser to get feedback information.

these things "WILL" get used like they are used in WoW, mainly for dissing/flaming others, there is a learning curve you know, not everyone gets it the first or second or even the third try you discourage them with stuff like that and destroy a otherwise nice game for them.

if you are in fact better, than take your time and speak up to those you think are not that good, but do not use some tool nobody "Really" needs, only to say that he is bad or a noob or what ever.

don't get me wrong, i don't have anything against those type of addons if they are used on training dummies, where you can actually learn your rotation and tweak your DPS(Damage Output or even Healing rota and output) without f****** up the Raid or dungeon, i have played WoW since Beta, and it was not long after these addons came, that they where used exactly for flaming and stuff like that by People who think they are better at everything while in fact they are not. (most of them)

i know not everyone is like those People but... you know i can work with real/true Criticism, but just saying your DPS or HPS is to low so "Goodby" or some flaming without actual helping, is something that should be banned in any (MMO)game.
