Please stop demanding removal/rework of Vote Abandon

Vote abandon should require everyone to accept. Problem solved.

SE is way too naive when implementing features like vote kick and vote quit. The japanese do think "others > me" most of the time, but SE seem to have no idea that western culture is mostly "me > others".

Vote abandon should remain as it is but slightly changed. People who vote 'no' shouldn't be booted. If more than half wish to abandon then they're allowed to leave with no penalty while those that wish to remain, can.

Vote kick would not exist if people would stop assuming that duty finder is a troll fest or a "carry me" ride.

That is not going to work. For example:
Pharos Sirius, 3 players accept, there is only one player left in a dungeon. Anyone joining such "party" in progress will instatly quit seeing only 1 player is left.
Primal fight? No player will join in progress having to spend another 20 minutes waiting for pt to fill up, then having like 20 minutes left, when they can have fresh party way faster.

A fix could be an option to be placed back in front of the queue when u vote no, but it will create potential abuse: promoting vote abandon to bypass long dps queue when farming. Therefore the only option is increasing required votes to accept abandon, including initiator to AT LEAST 4/4, 7/8, 21/24, with full party and 3 party increased further based on amount of players in premade parties.

The biggest issue is that people are too quick to just agree and give up the second something goes wrong.

About a week or so ago, I joined a CT group in progress at the Bone Dragon. By the time left, there couldn't have been more than 1 wipe, but 3 tanks were missing.
One of the guys suggested we try it anyway as 3 tanks should be enough. Someone disagreed, and then a 3rd person backed up the first.
The second guy dropped.
Without a work, 3 more people dropped 5 seconds later.
Then one by one, everyone just dropped silently until I was the last person in the raid...

Seriously... The whole, "We'll have to wait for replacements... Might as well re-queue!" mentality there is terrible. >_>
Replacements came in and we got a full alliance up much faster than if I'd had to requeue (was at ~28 minutes for a JiP and well over 6Ø for a fresh instance).
Vote abandon wasn't in at the time, but I'd have been annoyed if it were since I'd have gotten the boot even if I said no... Then back to the ridiculous queue...

actually I can confirm that even if I vote NO and I vote NO each time, because I dont feel there is any needs to vote yes just because people dont want to, I am being dropped from isntance, EACH time, even if I vote NO...

Only time so far that ive initiated a abandon vote, Titan HM ( i was tanking), didnt even get the heart to 1/2 WITH a lvl1 lb, and all DPS were up, twice. Sorry but if thats as much dps as people can put out, it isnt happening. Titan HM isnt the place to start learning rotations and class dps mechanics.

No, it was probably initiated by a tank who's drop was from King Behemoth and already has his 450 Myth... No, that isn't the intent of Vote Abandon. It was being misused at that point.

That would not be solves.

Situation: The party sucks so someone proceeds to vote.
What happens: 1 troll clicks no to make everyone suffer.
Result: Problem not solved.

Similar thing happened in a CT run the other day. One healer accused the other of dual-boxing (very possible, else that healer was very, very high), and the accused relied on the fact that you couldn't kick both of the players with that last name. We just went on without them -- both healers -- and finished Acheron anyway.

Anyway, the funny thing about IzumiRaito's version here is that it places the interests of the individual above those of group.
