I understand what you're saying, and I'mma let you finish,

BUT

With mantra being level 42 and available as cross class, there are a lot of people who end up leveling pugilist/monk all the way to 42 without any intention to actually play the class after that.
Before you get all your skills and enough skillspeed, a lot of the advice I see people give just doesn't apply.

One thing I found to be a massive help was the additional L2+R2 Crossbar you can set up. I have all my AoE attacks set to that in addition to long cooldown abilities and Fists of Fire/Earth. That way you free up your regularly used abilities for L2 and R2.
