I think you miss read what I said or didn't understand what I meant...
the word, "mine" is not a typo? if not then i am sure nobody understands. OR if it is a typo... he/she, cotti, may just be trolling.
also the game does not show your win to loss ratio. it immediately counts 1 towards your matches when you enter the map. the round doesn't even to start. you don't have to make it to the final results window.
it may not always be possible to math out your losses. maybe you get inside and have to leave for some reason. something in real life. or maybe you loss power. or system crashes. chances are you will be gone for longer then 60 seconds.
I don't bother with PVP anymore at this point.
If you queue solo, you will know if you are gonna win in 10 seconds, before any of the fighting takes place.
I constantly see 3 ppl with allagan weapon and full i70 pvp gear, they don't talk to you, just start fight, you can stand there and it will be a win within 30 seconds.
right now it's pretty much about whether you get to play with or against these ppl. so win and lose doesn't mean much at all.
Good gravy...
Is it so hard to accept reality? Personally, I was bery pleased to see the actual record. Why be afraid to see the truth about your PvP record?
I'm not trying to ruffle any chocobo feathers here but this thread really boggles my mind. It's ok to lose. It really is. Learn to accept it.
I'm just PvPing so I can get the cool-looking gearsets for vanity-slot purposes. Then I can save up for when they release new sets. But that's just me.
Here's an outside-the-box idea... Consider the gear rewards as trophies of your expertise and experience. People are more prone to admire gear that is hard-to-get, extremely rare, or unobtainable. In PvP, you win and you lose. Consider a loss as an opportunity for you and the team you played with to improve.
I have the same number of wins as I do the number of losses... 0/0. I like to keep things balanced.
"Who here actually likes seeing THEIR Win to Lose ratio in pvp?"
Sorry, had to do it. :P
I do like seeing my ratio though. I like to know how I've done. I'd like a ratio for the last week, month, year, all-time options though.
