Crystal Tower Loot System - What needs to be done

I really can't recall seeing someone leave after they get a piece. Not saying it hasn't happened in my runs but at least in my groups that hasn't happened that I have noticed. There is already roughly 200 tomes of philosophy and 50 myth tomes plus the chance of getting the item you want. If you aren't myth capped it is worth it to finish the run out and get those 50 tomes. For the longevity of the instance I could see this being a problem though.

As far as your suggestion goes specifically I think that is way too much of a reward.

Whn I see someone drop (for whatever reason) in CT, they are replaced in seconds. Tank/Healer/DPS all replaced immediately.

Because some people flag up for in progress runs because there's a decent chance you will get 50 myth and a chance at two drops for ~15 mins work.

It's a solution looking for a problem imho.

Also, if you're running out of gil doing CT you're doing it wrong. one Philosophy crafting item should keep you repaired for 10 runs at least and you get 200 phil per run.

With this method it's not a loot pinata, but you're not locked out for dumb reasons.
Greed rolls with RNG, all the other people greeding since it won't lock them out, and all the different jobs.. it would still take quite a while to gear up your alt jobs.

Considering I did 27 runs this week, that's since Monday, just for the one item I wanted to drop. Even with greed rolls, i'd have several pieces by now.

Solution is still remove dungeons and crafting and add a NPC that gives you everything you want.

Because clearly people do not do dungeons because they want to, only because they are forced, and we shouldn't be forced to do boring things in a game.

Just make it so you can roll and win the loot but receive it at the end, if you're not there than no one gets it or it another roll for it happens. That way people will stick around for their items.

Easier solution: No loot drops until the final boss is defeated. When the final boss dies, the chest drops 4-5 items that can be rolled on. As is currently the case, you can only get one of these.

look SE if really want to copy wow, copy 100% and use tokens or points system instead of a nasty freakin tiresome RNG and im pretty sure all that QQ will vanish

I have never been in a CT where someone drops group after loot is dispersed. The places takes like 30 minutes, I figured people almost do it for myth points alone rather then the gear.
