Serious problems with PvP across the board

Neither of the above. I know how to play my class. I know what the debuffs do. But it's still not a "utility" class. near full lv90 gear and playing turn 5 right now. Thanks for the insults though.

Knowing how to be good at PvE and how to be good at PvP are two entirely different things. PvP is a lot more dynamic.

Lol@ you saying a 50% healing debuff isn't the best utility in the game. Most games it is 25% AT MOST.

I've played hundreds of PvP matches. I know what's different about it. And I don't care what "most games" do, this isn't "most games." It's absurd to argue that SMN has "lots of utility" when they have ONE good utility skill. Yes, it's a good one, but it's the only one. And if you dogpile the SMN @1, he may only get to use it once on one person who can just dispel it. And I even said I wouldn't care if the healing - was reduced. If that's all they did, it wouldn't bother me at all.

the slow and healing debuff is one skill, the binds are only useful in premades b/c everybody keeps breaking the bind (and bind only really hurts melee b/c the casters can still cast), and raise is not that great b/c people will just get killed again within seconds of raising most of the time, making it little more than a distraction. Sometimes it helps, but only if the other team isn't paying attention. Already said they can reduce the healing debuff, I won't care because I barely even notice its existence.

My point remains that SMN is the most defenseless class in the game and all you have to do is zerg them. Break your initial CC / misasma whatever if you get it and just beat the smn down. No problem. I know from experience- I get targeted first pretty much every time and I'm entirely dependent on my allies killing / disabling the people on me before they kill me.

I've heard of this though i've yet to see it. That needs to be changed because nowhere else in the game has jump helped you avoid damage.

What's really OP starting today even more than SMN is bards that JUMP. Melee people can't even land a hit because of the jumping thing. Someone posted it on the forums now everyone jumps to avoid melee damage. BRD is especially bad because they can still do most of their DPS while jumping rendering monks almost useless. Anyone else seeing this?

It's not a 'BRD' problem. Every class in the game can do it. It's an exploit.

its just more advantagous for bards because they can do most of their skills from range while jumping around like rabbits and avoiding all melee damage

Don't forget about their passive interrupts (pets, you just SET IT AND FORGET IT!).

Think this thread turned into a SMN nerf/dont nerf discussion, but a lot of the points raised do need to be fixed.
The biggest ones that bother me: Waiting time, Shared Actions on Hotbar and Reset cost.
-People saying they need the waiting time for the cool downs is just silly, just need the cooldowns to reset as soon as you enter pvp. easy fix
-Shared actions on hotbar have made my warrior pretty much for pvp only since I use gamepad and the spaces in the crossbar have to be used wisely.
-And the reset cost is outrageous, how do they expect people to try different builds and abilities at such a high cost?
But then again all those are easy to fix, balancing the classes will be done throughout the games life span so...

Has anyone mentioned how all casters can use SPRINT with no downside while melee can't use it because they need TP... I mean melees don't even have any heavy either so how do you expect them to keep up with that.

I try to play as a PLD but I'm virtually useless. Usually people tell me to stun healer but this is a bullcrap idea as I can only stun 3 times for a total of 9 seconds and then I have to wait 30seconds because of the new DR rule. It's not like I can even attack during doing this. It's hard enough keeping up with the healer in the first place..

I haven't played pvp for very long but I've already arrived at the conclusion that sucks really badly. Which isn't really a surprise for me...before this stuff came out I was already extremely worried about it being like this.
