I hope so to, seeing Jhanaka reply and say they will investigate into his particular case has gotten my hopes back up from it's declining state! But anything can still happen yet >.< Jhanakas reply doesn't mean he will be unbanned, so heres to hoping further! Guhhhhh, the suspense!!

This just tells us all.. That regardless if live, phone call, or any kind of official support can't do anything but give you the same response, keep trying and don't loose hope! You just may never know if you'll get that lucky break!

Rawrrior, I made a character on your world. Is there a particular active Free Company or Linkshell that you would re-join once you return to the game? I could go ahead and join it; that way, you and I could get in contact more easily in-game when the time comes! I did look up your character on the Lodestone and noticed that you had a FC of your own, so I wasn't sure if there were any others you would know of, or where your other FC members may have migrated to. Or, if you guys aren't so attached to Midgardsormr, you could always join us in Excalibur (although, it's a Legacy server. I think anyone can still join?)--our FC is a Social/Endgame group that is like a close family: very friendly, helpful and active members. ^^ This is all a bit off-topic, but I couldn't find a way to send a private message on these forums or the Lodestone.

Hey! :O!!

Me and Mister made our own FC, Waffle Bandits. We only had 6 members total. 2 left cause of us being inactive (derp), 1 is inactive (best friend who also canceled her account), and 1 who is still active lol. I could get her to invite you in whenever possible if you give me your characters name :o! Her name is Shihaku. Whenever she's on, just tell her that Mrs Madam said you can have an invite in. I believe she can invite..

Maybe i'd make a character on there :o Though, we can never truly ditch Mrs Madam and Mister Sirs. But since that is a legacy server, we probably won't be able to afford anything with the inflated prices o___o!!

Well, I gotta get ready for work. I work at Walmart and so it's going to be busy because the store is closing in a little over 3 hours... I'll be there during the madness. But I'll be back in-game/on these forums probably around 11:00 P.M. CST.

I feel for you guys. My wife and I play together to (Hey hey midgardsormr) I knew exactly how to do what he did to. Its was very tempting for myself to try it. Could of even bought a throwaway account (Whats 15 bucks really?) but i couldn't convince myself to do it because i know how this stuff goes down, we are IRL friends with Blizzard GMs, these companies don't play around with stuff like this. Their security between client and server is still pretty unsecure.

Glad to see you at least got a reply, the circumstances really suck for this as he did it with his white hat on and not black like a majority of the people on ownedcore. I wish you guys luck with the GM's and you have Sweet n Sour Chocobos support if he decided to come back! =) (Cecilia says hi!)

I wouldn't be as much to complain if Mister Sirs was banned on the spot, instead of being sweeped up in blanket bans because he was following GM Jhanaka's wishes (leaving the spawned money in a 2nd retainer, that remained untouched since he deposited the money in it).

I know for a FACT none of the illegitimate gil was ever touched or removed from the retainer once it was put in, and know for a fact none of it was ever used before he reported it to SE, and i'm sure as heck willing to risk my account for it. We played together, so we would make one another our gear with whatever materials we bought from vendors, got from mobs, or the market.

The most wrong Mister Sirs did was snooping in the coding, and by doing so he found a large game breaking exploit, which he reported to SE, had the Senior GM appear before us in game, emails went back and forth explaining to SE how he did it, step by step. Was he banned for it? No. He was banned cause he did exactly what the Senior GM, Jhanaka told him to do. Leave all the spawned items in the retainer and not to use any of it, and cause of it, got banned when SE pushed out the blanket bans to every server.

So to us, what that told us once he was confronted by Jhanaka and weeks later, was that he did a good thing and wasn't punished for the hacking since it was such a large find. And with that, why can't he be unbanned? For heavens sake we just want to play together again where we left off! ;________;!

Is this really to much to ask with his situation? Yes this as amazed, and angered us both, but we are very much pushing that aside, and trying to get him unbanned to play again! It just boggles me why we can't get a official response, or a second change :/ Not even a mod dropping in and possibly saying something like "tell Mister Sirs to submit a ticket and we will pick it up to discuss the issue" or something.

I don't know how much more i must beg and plea to have him get a second chance :/ When every other official form of support refuses to help, this is where we turned to, with hopes we can get seen.

Again.. Please! D:! I'm not here to bash Square Enix and tell people of what they do or don't do, or to tell you how to feel about them, or to even cancel their accounts, no, we want to be seen, and possibly given a second chance, and have his account unbanned! We want to come back :/ I refuse to play without Misters Sirs. And making a new account, when we made these together.. Are just.. Ugh..

Not really sure what you mean by lurk moar O.o or have any idea what ownedcore is, and don't really want to know. IRL blizz gms? Those poor souls D: Unless it's not as terrible as i think it may be. Those GMS do seem to have fun when they reply to tickets and such. They are generally nice and helpful. I started playing again once the banning happen. Gotta log on and collect those gifts!

Yeah, we were very happy to get a reply! Now we have to wait patiently till he gets contacted or something. We really only have 1 friend left in FFXIV that we can play with if we are able to play together again, so if we do come back (hopefully) maybe we can group up some time :o! I bet things have changed in these past few months. Someone told me mobs now drop gil? And. o.o Who's Cecilia? And.. o_o Hi Cecilia..!!

Yep, in dungeons, mobs now drop gil. It's not very much, though. I think it's less than 100 gil per kill? I'm not sure because I don't do dungeons very often, lol. You can still get significantly more gil by crafting and stuff.

Yeah, though selling in the market is hazardous since it can get you banned if you make to much.. Though 100ish per kill isn't bad i think :o

That is the first place that a specific exploit was leaked. I can confirm that was a completely separate exploit.
