So not going over this one again. Essentially, the person you are quoting needs to only worry about their own personal wealth. Plenty of money is being generated in the economy. The economic fallout that everyone was QQ'ing about would have happened already.

I am pretty sure they are myth tomes. If you watch the video, you will see a better view of the Philo and Myth tomes.

Here, here! PLD is my main role and I'll be playing it regardless of any extras. But, if my Gil purse happens to be a bit fuller to offset repairs at the end of the day, I won't complain.

The screenshot shows myth tomes. 6:59 into the video, you can see a representation of philo and myth. The screenshot shows a blue(actually two, but mashed due to resolution) line that covers almost half the tome. The video shows a shot of the philo tome with a sliver of blue.

que? the point of this is that more people queue as tank, in other words: you have a shorter line to wait in. less waiting = more tomes for you, too!

Loving the idea that tanks should be paid for tanking, honestly just get over yourselves. I was an endgame tank for years in FF11 and I never once even thought I deserved paying for it despite the fact that the vast majority of the time I was tanking to get other people drops. It was just my role so I played it.

I don't want to do the same stuff that I've already done 12 times this week so that you can get it done as well. I'm a good guy but I don't play this game charitably to strangers. Now, we need to solve that problem: how do you get someone to do something they don't want to do? You give them stuff.

Its not that tanks think they SHOULD be paid (in-game currency, mind you) to play their part. If there are 2 tanks in the whole game, 4 healers, and 30 DPS, that means that the tanks would need to do 75 runs per week to get each DPS their 10. Why would they do an extra 65 runs that have extreme diminishing returns for them and NOT develop an attitude that they are more valuable? Its very, very, very basic supply and demand.
