It's the same reason why both my modem and my cable box have been replaced. TWC has come out to make sure that everything locally is swapped out for something that for sure is working properly, so that the hardware at my location can be removed from the equation of what I'm suffering from. The fact that they always come out to do these things for me when I make a call saying there're problems says that the local office is trustable with how they're willing to spend time and money to make sure that everything locally is working properly.

Had the same problem after last maintenance. Power cycled my router and everything is fine. I hope to god everyone has at least tried this. You never know....

I've also been having this problem since last maintenance as well, both at home and at campus. My game tended to be on the low side of fps but was playable, around 20 or so but now it is down to about 5 fps in areas it never happened in before!! The only places I don't seem to get lag are where there aren't any people or in dungeons. Copperbell Mines ran perfectly when I played it the other night but when I got back into Limsa it was awful. I hope there's an answer soon!

I don't know if it helps, but I'm on the east side of the US and on Sargantas.

I'm also on TWC and am having problems with this issue. It's just a recent occurrence, also. Things were running very smoothly. Just a little laggy in places like Coerthas where everyone congregates for FATEs. Now, I am getting a lot of lag spikes, especially in instances. Trying to be a healer in dungeons is awful now. I'm east coast on Sargatanas.

I use Time Warner, and have little issues, (I do have them, but maybe once every dungeon, and thats it)
But I've notice almost every single person i see in dungeon finders having issues.

They all dodge the boss mechanic, only to be hit by it anyways.
I know there are a few of these people, but now its literally everyone, and it makes healing a Pain in the Arse.

Ive given up on healing anyone but the tank. I just let them die, and keep the tank up, till its over.

My tracert always shows problems at Montreal1.Level3.net and Montreal2.Level3.net during peak times.

this is not a TWC problem, now I conclude this is Chicago center problem, and US East side = no lag, US west side = lagging

The vid I posted was from upstate New York.

ok actually i was just concluding based on the VPN I use. pingZapper NY tunnel no lag, pingZapper LA tunnel Lag. and I don't think pingZapper has anything to do with TWC.

btw I have a friend who playing in Canada in Toronto has no lag at all.
