It's the same reason why both my modem and my cable box have been replaced. TWC has come out to make sure that everything locally is swapped out for something that for sure is working properly, so that the hardware at my location can be removed from the equation of what I'm suffering from. The fact that they always come out to do these things for me when I make a call saying there're problems says that the local office is trustable with how they're willing to spend time and money to make sure that everything locally is working properly.
